Dixie last night . She is owned by Eric Deshane and out of the Gauge X rain cross ( Clinch Mtn Rain)
This cross would not of happened without the assistance of Danny G.
We were down in OH at a hunt Gauge was at Danny's house and ol Rain was starting into season when we were getting ready to leave so I threw her in the truck. At the end of the hunt Danny agreed to get up In The middle of the night to breed her on our way home. After I backed my Camper on to his lawn leaving some decorative ruts we dropped the back of the toy hauler and out came Rain. She was almost ready but not quite. There were other females coming to see Gauge so I couldn't take him home w me and she wasn't standing. Danny grabs a red solo cup and Gauge literally. A half hr later we were headed back to NY. We were off by a couple days but Rain did have 3 pups. Tula , soon to be dual GR Piper and Dixie!! These 3 are the reason we did it again and Gauge was home the next year and ol Rain had a full size litter the second time whelping 8 pups all of which are pleasing their owners a great deal. Rain was turning 9 and died a while after raising her last litter. She used to lay out of reach on top of her box and watch em play for hours. Lol
When u get these pics in the middle of the night I guess it's worth the effort.

Here's a yonger littermate to Dixie. She goes hunting and doesn't care what the other dogs are doing, all with a male dog mouth. Can't wait till I'm all settled in to my new house so I can get back to hunting like I normally do. Unfortunately, I haven't had her out much this Spring.
