Damon Farrell plans on hunting his young Rowdy dog, Brian Pierson plans on hunting Ranger and I may hunt my Smoke dog at the BBOA Zone I Hunt this weekend at Marshall, Mo. All three males are sired by John II, his pups are starting to show up at the hunts.......Tim

"Team Mad Dog" ... I just meant that it is pretty nice to hear that there are so many dogs in competition now that originated from your breeding efforts. I guess its really not a "team", but I know that I am really happy to have one!

Zeke is doing great, and progressing beyond what I expected of him at 8 months old. He is about ready now to be hunted on his own, with the kits being down, it should be perfect timing for him to start and finish his own tracks. By this fall he should be ready to really "crank it up" !

Damon Farrell won 1st place Fri night at the BBOA Zone 1 hunt with Rowdy, sired by John II and out of Jim Combs Katy female.

Daniel Huntsel won 2nd place with his Astro male sired by Psyco Sid. The Mad Dogs did well Fri night, hope they do well Sat........Tim

Mad Dog Mo Smoke, another John II pup wins second on Sat night(tied for first lost tie breaker by 50 plus tree points, both dogs had 575 plus 0 minus) This makes 2 seconds in 3 hunts for Smoke.

Daniel Hunsel won 4 th place with his Astro dog ( sired by Psyco Sid). Daniel also won high scoring opposite sex with Astro. The Mad Dogs had another good showing at the Zone hunt, will see all of you at the next Zone 1 hunt in Nebraska.........Tim

Hope The little Joker X Mindy pup is getten along with things in his new home. I have your puppy papers in the mail. You should get em any day. Ours saw his first kitten coon yesterday and just came unglued!!! I wasn't sure if it would be too early but he wanted to tear that thing into peices!!!! I turned it loose but the coon didn't run the way I wanted so I never turn'd loose on em. Plenty of time for that when he grows up a little. No need to get bit at 11 week old. He sure is raising heck with the barn cats too.........................Jon

Steve, I was impressed with Smoke last night, I drew out with 3 walkers, the first coon he sat down in the middle of them and let them run all around him for about 4 minutes before anyone backed him and he had the meat. Smokes mother was a littermate to your Elcie female. The blood is there.......Tim

I want to THAK YOU and Velisa for your hospitality and the great time we had tis weekend.
Congrats on Smoke's second place win.
The Turk pups are showing that the ole man is throwing some real tree dogs.
Although I didn't do any good in the hunt I had a great time and enjoyed looking at a ton of coon each night. You guy's have some of the best hunting ground that I have ever seen.
Froggie is going into an intense rebuilding program this week and I'm working on sitting up a few hunts with strange dogs this weekend. I'm going to push Lincoln and Rooster III hard by themselves also. I hope to have them ready by the time to go to the Nebraska hunt.
P.S. The wind blows in Missouri just like it does in Kansas, 70mph aint that bad!(haha)

Took Smoke (TURK son) and Slick (Future Turk girl friend) on a short hunt last night, first ditch the dogs got deep and got treed they were split and each dog had a coon. The second ditch they treed a double. Both dogs looked good, guess I will feed them another day......Tim
