It sounds about like what you have described with Cannon. Hopefully that's all it is!!! I wonder if it's not something hereditary. Since they are breed the same.
Tom, I hope it's just some fatty tumor type of thing! It seems Cannons have been around his neck. The first was under his neck, and this last one, was on the side of his neck. They removed it, and will send it off for biopsy. I'll say one thing, it hasn't affected his appetite. Yeah, it could be hereditary. I'm not sure how long he will be laid up, hopefully not too long. He's so fat now, he can hardly get in the dog box.
