An old Cat... belongs to a relative. I have a picture of myself and a stepchild on a Dozier in a pic album some where I think. I might dig it up and scan it sometime. I have done some land clearing, road building and operated farm machinery.

NICE PIC I ALWAYS THOUGHT 8NS WERE RED AND GRAY BUT LOOKING ON EBAY I SEE A LOT GREY AND BLUE DID THEY COME FROM FACTORY THAT COLOR OR DID PEOPLE CHANGE THE COLOR

Mine even got a coat of Ford Blue about the third overhaul. But it's back to grey and red now.

I need 2 front wheels for a 8n..Mines plum wore out..Rusted through! Any of ya'll know if I can use some other kind of wheels?

LIKE THE TALK ON TRACTORS, SORRY I CAN NOT CHIME IN. WELL DAUGHTERS GAME WAS CANCELLED AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL. THAT TICKS ME OFF. I DID GET MY DRIVEWAY SEALED, WHAT PAIN IN THE A$$ THAT WAS. I BOUGHT HOAGIES FOR DINNER, DID NOT FEEL LIKE COOKING. WEST VIRGINIA WON THE GAME OVER MD AND I MISSED IT. I AM GOING TO THE WOODS LATER.

Mine did the same thing. I cut the center part out and welded it into 14 inch street tire rims. 15s or 16s should work fine. Been running it that way for 20 years. If I get a blowout I always have a spare used tire laying around.

THAT DRIVE WAY SEALING IS A PAIN GLAD MINE IS GRAVEL WHEN IT GETS ROUGH A COUPLE SWIPES WITH THE SCRAPER BLADE SMOOTH AGIN.

I DID THE SAME THING TO THE WHEELS ON AN OLD 9N I HAD.

THERE IS A COMPANY ON EBAY THAT SELLS TRACTOR TIRES ON WHEELS I BOUGHT A SET FOR REAR OF MY 8N FOR LESS THAN I COULD BUY JUST THE TIRES LOCAL DONT KNOW IF THEY SELL FRONT ONES MOUNTED OR NOT

You know I didn't know what that was till I looked it up. I didn't know they were puttin V8's and straight 6's in those tractors back then. Looks like all that power would snap something off!

CORKY, THE PAVED DRIVEWAY IS A BLESSING WHEN WE GET SNOW. A LITTLE SUNLIGHT AND SNOW MELTS RIGHT OFF. WHEN WE GOT THE DEEP SNOWS LAST YEAR 3' + THE SNOW BLOWER SLIDES NICE AND EASY ON IT. SO I GUESS A LITTLE WORK NOW IS WORTH IT THEN.

STILL NICE AND COOL HERE THIS MORNING. DID NOT HUNT LAST NIGHT AS PLANNED. DECIDED TO STAY HOME WITH THE WIFE INCASE SHE NEEDED SOMETHING.
