Yes, but what a blessing it is to have access to state of the art procedures. Many of them weren't even dreamed about when we were young. Back then, if you had a back problem, all you could do was take a BC powder and set in the rocker on the porch. Folks would say, "He claims to have a bad back", suggesting he was faking it. No, there not perfect but they are so much better than what we had. And what about those pain medications, they're way better than a BC powder.
