Nots sure of all states but MN can remove the WMA designation of a WMA and sell the land. Even land donated to the DNR specifying that it be preserved as a wildlife sanctuary.

I guess that it is up to the legislators that the states elect and send to Congress. The only problem with them is that after they move to Washington, D.C. and get to Congress, they seem to become part of "big government" and forget about their "states rights".

our president is mentally ill. he's in denial concerning everything that is going wrong and of his being responsible for the problems. at the same time, he's convienced that he is the greatest thing that ever happened to this country.
our only hope is a conservative president in 2016.

You're right, a conservative president is not our only hope. As christians, we have hope in Jesus Christ.

The powers that be have to empty the prisons full of their constituents in order to make room for the rest of us, legalize pedophiles, drugs, close the churches, make the Constitution, Unconstitutional, sue the publishers of the bible on the grounds of hate speech, and then disarm us all for the sake of the Children of course!? Everyone needs to be on the lookout for pesky Presbyterians or maybe it is those mad dog Methodist, nut bag Nazarene's, or crazy Catholics, lunatic Lutherans ,say it ain't so, surely those peaceful and tolerant followers of Islam had nothing to do with the attack in Tennessee !?

If I would like for BP gas stations to stop selling ethanol gas I would not be able to do much as a store manager but as CEO I would have a lot better chance of getting what I wont. Same thing goes for government CEO being the president and store manager being the governor. For state rights to be what they should be it will have to be supported by the person in the white house.

But when you became CEO, you would have to worry more about how much money BP was making and you would not stop selling Ethanol. Isn't it strange how politicians change their stand on issues after they are elected? But when you think about the "realities" of politics, I guess that it isn't all that strange. Have you ever worked with a good buddy and then watch him change after he is made the boss or supervisor?

Richard is that like someone starting out coonhunting with Redbones then decide they want to get serious and be a competition hunter so they switch to Walkers?

Or how about when a very nice friendly Redbone hunter gets hired by the "governing body". Boy does that make them change. Exactly what does, "company man", mean? It is funny how your views on hunter's rights can change when you become part of the government. Todd, using coonhunting as an anology is an excellant idea.

What is strange to me is that there is so many Americans with your same track of thinking. Glass half empty, nothing I can do so why vote, point of view that is killing our country. As far as your buddy changing after becoming a boss just says he was not much of a man to start with, and that is the reason when chosen a person to vote for everyone needs to make an effort to find out where that person stands and what kind of history they have voting or speaking on the points that matter most to you. History meaning a long standing point of view that want be changed in a real man no matter what office he holds.

swampcreek, i agree. When you see that bobby jindal, mike huckalbee, rick perry and others supported common core until they started seeing push back from voters, it shows what they will do before they can test the wind of popularity. i think it also shows what kind of leader they will be. just like rommney enacted romneycare in mass.. it was ok until everyone become aware of what it all meant. he is a liberal, big government sort at heart.

I dont think there is a real leader in the whole pack, if the election were tomorrow i would vote for trump just as a poke in the eye of the establishment. The clintons are morally reprehensible, and most of the repiblican candidates are simply morons.
When its all said and done im not sure a president has all that much to do anymore with the path of the nation. People no longer vote for the welfare of the country, the vote for the candidate that promises the bigger welfare check. The young people today will be the first generation in the history of our nation to have a lower standard of living than their parents.
