I have 5 trained dogs ages 4-10 Y/O,went took all 5 by myself a few nights ago around midnight , turned loose near creep feeder in cow pasture all 5 blew up and scattered made 5 different trees saw 8 coon most appeared to be kittens about half grown. next drop dogs struck and all 5 took a track down the river and up a feeder creek about 3/4 a mile treed coon in big pecan by pond are my dogs these so called me too dogs, or are they independent?

DITTO ! A quick strike or automatic strike dog with a quick to pull the trigger handler that knows his dog will cover and picks up on your dog fast is hard to deal with for two hours.

in my opinion. a me too dog is one that stands around waiting on someone else to bark then they run in there an tree..

a babbler is one that barks from time u cut it till it gets back in box..

an i have seen dogs hit track quick an sound good doing it,,, i think the dogs we are talkin about as being the problem in the hunts is the ones that get struck every drop bout 5 feet from handler.. these dogs are not on a coon track.. you never walk in an turn loose on a coon every drop.. never... yes they will end with a coon most of time.. but if you took them dogs to a 1000 yrd pasture field i bet they bark from you all way across,, are they struck like they are in the woods every drop... i think not... my dog will bark 4 or 5 times every drop.. he would do same thing in that big field.. he would not bark across that field.. i understand theres alot of dogs that smell coon before other dogs,, but i have never turned loose on a track every drop like the guy that hunts that type of dog claims he does

I'd vote yes to all but leaving the mean dog at home. I'd put a mean dog down.
