But we have trillions to spend on military adventures. Just how is the 3-6 trillion dollars that we have blown on Iraq gonna help make our lives any better? It didn't make Iraqi lives better either.
If America wants to be successful again it is going to have to take a good hard look at itself, drop the attitude, and make a commitment to ALL OF US DOING BETTER AGAIN. Not just the 1%ers. ALL OF US. But committing to an entire society doing better would by definition be socialism. And we just can't have that now can we.....
first, there is a reason you paraphrased my question. if you posted my whole post that contained the question along with the quote of yours i was responding to, anyone with a first grade education would know we are talking about modern day china.
2nd, you listed all this inventions from china 1000s of years ago, list all these great advanements that outpace usa today. i mean surely if you aware of inventions from thousands of years ago, you could list a few from modern times of the top of your head since you so confindantly boast of them.
the chinese dont invent they illegally steal ideas, technology, information ect ect. they are contiounously trying to steal classified government and military information. thier goal is to be able to hack into or power girds andshut them down and cause chaos. their goal is to be able to disrupt our gps so our military and transportation is shut down. if what they steal through computers someone walked into the pentagon an stole there would be mjaor repercussions. dont for one mintue think they have friendly intentions. AND OBAMA TURNS A BLIND EYE OR GIVES LIP SERVICE.
YOU FOLKS NEED TO REALZIE THE USA AS THE WORLDS NUMBER 1 POWER IS BY FAR THE BEST OPTION IN NOT ABUSING THAT POWER AND KEEPING THIS WORLD SOMEWHAT PEACEFUL. THE MOMENT WE LOSE THAT, THE WORLD JUST BECAME A FAR MORE DANGEROUS PLACE.

how much more are we suppose to give? do we make life so cofortbale for those on government assistance that they never want to or have any incentive not to get off it. think on this. 47% of the country doesnt pay income taxes. how is that sustainable? i see folks are food stamps eating better than me. their grocery carts are loaded to the brim with high dollar foods.
some of yall are just like the race baiters. they keep racism in the forefront because they are making millions off of it at the expense of minorities. the democratic party say they are the party of the poor so what incentive do they have to get this lare voting base out of poverty? they give them the scraps off their table with no chance at ever sharing in the lions share.
its not our test scores in math or sceicne that make us a great economic power, its the freedoms that allow for free thinking and opportunity for all that leads to innovation after innovation. IF OBAMA WILL GET OUT OF THE WAY, THE ENERGY RENASSIANCE THAT IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY WILL LEAD US TO THE FOREFRANT OF WORLD ECONIOMIES FOR THE NEXT CENTRUY. is the economy approving? yes to some extent. but what did yall expect? for the usa to never recover? economies go in cycles and we are in the recovey period. but it should be happening faster and more intensne then what we are seeing, especially with all stimulus money. Truly you speak of infrastructure, i thought that was what a majority of the stimulus was suppose to go to. OBAMACARE IS A HUGE HINDERANCE OF THE ECONOMIC RECOVERY, ITS COSTING US MORE NOT LESS-THEY FLAT OUT LIED TO US. AND THE FACT IS, THE MAJORITY OF THE USA DO NOT WANT IT. AND THE QUALITY AND TIMELINESS OF CARE IS GOING TO GO DOWN HILL SO BAD WE ARE WILL END UP REGRETTING OBAMACARE BADLY.
SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE, MEDICARD IS SUPPOSE TO BE UNTOUCHABLE? WHAT? DO U LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD? COMPELTELY UNSUNSTAINABLE AT THESE LEVELS. leave it alone for those getting it and those close to geting it, but their better be some changes to those in their 40s and under-AND THAT INCLUDES ME.
