How did you guys do?? I stayed home thinking it was going to rain about 8:00 and I see it didn't start here till about 11:00. Man I knew I should have went. Oh well, look out tomorrow night!!!! LOL

Treed three, Our nite champion Trouble dog treed two and our ten month old Lilly dog treed one so I would say it was a successful night.

She is red, going to try and get some pics on here soon if I can remember how to do it, We are looking forward to get together as soon as u can, Maybe Monday night if that works for u and the weathers fit. John has to go back to work Tuesday and works 2nd shift let me know if not me and u can get together next week sometime.

We was able to make a couple of drops last night on the first drop Hoss and Lilly went about 500 yards and struck a track ran it about 300 yards across the hollow and over the hill end at a big den tree.
The next drop Trouble and Calie got treed on another den.
The last drop of the night we drop Hoss and he ran a track down the creek and tree in a big Pine right at the edge of the water with mr. coon setting all the way in the top of if. hoping to make it out again tonight.

Tom & John I think that is a grand idea. Guys this dog gets it done in a hurry. From what I seen on one night of hunting, he gets off the strap Quick, he hustles to the track, gets open quick, moves a track exceptionally well, has a mouth like a male hound is supposed to sound like, a locate that a child can call, and a steady every breath tree dog, and pays little attention to what other dogs are doing. I sure liked what I saw a couple weeks back.

He would cross very well on my Lizzie female. I must keep him in mind If/when I ever decide to breed her. That is of course, if she would ever come in heat. She is 18 months old and has not yet ever ran a heat cycle.

Hope to see you guys at the hunts this spring, as Ole Lizzie is getting just about ready for a trip to town LOL!!

Thanks for the kind words about TROUBLE. John and I believe that he would help our breed if we could get people to look at him for their next stud dog.
Guys don't over look this hound. What pups that he has on the ground is starting at a young age. We have bred him to a female here at S&S English Kennels and the pups are doing well starting young. Our LILLY female is 11 months old and getting it done by herself. We are also getting good reports on the others in that liter. So guys don't let the cheap stud fee foul you. We just want to make it affordable for everyone so give him a look. Thank you all.

Another season has come and gone, We here at S&S English Kennels had a successful year. We was hunting a nine month old pup at the beginning of the year and she has become a nice hound at 11 months can't wait until spring to see what she can do in the hunts.

Lilly over came her first challenge last night by passing the HTX hunt test she treed two coons and had no faults she just turned a year old February 2nd, we might put her in a comp hunt at the end of the month
