good job
I really never have attributed it to the color of an English dog. (Just my own observations so to speak) a higher percentage of English hounds can finish a track with the meat in single digits or less without standing on their heads for hours on end LOL
One thing that has always stuck with me is an outstanding hounds man told me a few things that made sense:
1 Their are good ones in all the color schemes (as in English)
2 A multi colored Litter means you have the whole gene pool
3 Breed your best to your best and you cannot go wrong
4 The best tree dog to the best track dog seems to have the best out come
I am no breeder nor have I ever been one. I now find myself looking for traits that are getting less and less. The gene pool is still here in the English breed ( Thank God ) so keep that in mind and don't make those lines so tight.
PS Tri color does appeal to my eye even in the walkers but, I hunt hounds for ability not color
