Thanks Pete I knew about the one your hunting belonging to Jake. I've been in touch with him for the last year or so. We both kinda had problems with our hounds when we started putting them in the hunts. From what jake tells me hank should finish out easy enough. I plan on making mine a PKC Ch this winter and finish her to GrNite this spring/summer. Then I have a male pup with the same daddy as Charlie's little female I'm going to try and get in some hunts by fall.

Good luck frank.. I heard a lot about that little young dog charlie had out of hoss. I never got a chance to hunt with her, but i guess the guy who owns her now really likes her.. can't count ole charlie out he will be packin power when he shows up at the hunts. His star female is probably one of the toughest gyps in this part of the state.. she's a dandy.. keep us posted on your female and good luck...

Charley,
I was at the Winter Classic in Batesville, MS today and there was a guy there from Arkansas that had a blue NtCh female that was out of Fugley and Last Chance Mitzi.
If I am correct you told me you made that cross twice. My NtCh female's dam is from one of the crosses. This gyp looked a lot like my female and the pictures of Old Fugley. His genetics must have been pretty dominant.
The guy said she was a real nice coondog and would not even think about selling her. I think she was either 7 or 8 yrs old.
My female weighs 40 pounds and he said she weighs 45. Just thought I would pass along that there are people hunting Fugley blood and liking it.

I just checked the state, breed standings on the PKC page. I'm proud to say psycho is #2 in the state and #16 in the breed race. Even with the holes this dog has she has made me proud to own and handle her. We had a good year last year.....I finished her out to GrCh on the bench and NtCh in the hunts and quit hunting her by the middle of July along with hunting a dog in the hunts for about 6 weeks for Janett Butcher. I just hope our luck holds out and we can finish her to Grand Nite this summer.

Charlie sorry for taking over your post but I thought you would like to know about some of your blood line.

Way to go frank.. you have done an awesome job.. Charlie don't mind he put a lot of time and won a lot with Roy himself.without these old psycho hounds there wouldn't been a Roy..thanks again frank.. me and make must come in from hunting hank. I been treeing lots of coon with him as well.. congrats...

Im real happy with moose. Looked at 10 could coons this weekend in a two night comp hunt. He was first to tree jus bout everytime. I jus slipped up on my end. Runs a track his head up, opens here an there. Then that double siren locate and chop,chop, chop. I would have liked to had him when he was a pup.
