When my hounds slick i post it im not ashamed to admit it when they hit a den i post it was a den regardless of age it lets me know what hound needs more work.

If its a young dog that trees it then they get walked out to them if they tree a possum i pull the dogs back and kill it and locate the dogs in a different spot if they go back to it then i get a switch Streak should be slamming trees at 3 years old and he is behind bad little girl is giving up to easy Daisy at 1 year 10 months she is doing great to only be hunted roughly 24 times Rebel right now at 11 months is showing interest but has to much play in the woods in a few weeks he will be getting a nice wake up call being tied at the tree and a coon coming to him if that doesnt work then ill be lost

I took my red tick male last night, he is just now starting, he went ot and hunted , opened a few times . He hunted for about 2 hours and finally got out to about 850 yards on the garmin.i hit the tone on his collar and he came back to the truck. No coon yet but I like what I am seeing in him.

sounds good iv been watchin the garmin on streak for him to just turn 3 i am expecting him to be doing way more than he is first few nights after being put up he was making boxes with no tight pattern last night he started zig zags and getting on some trees main problem now is back tracking daisy all of a sudden is sitting under your feet she has never done that and little girl gives up after 10 min and starts treeing on squirrels but last night was the 2nd night this year i was ready to just leave them in the woods till my gf gave little girl the old boot trick and she went in and singled on a tall tree with a small coon up that i think streak had been trying to put up by him self but he will not tree with another dog he is very independent and will normally go until he finds one him self

BO IS DOING FINE. VET GIVE ME SOME MED. AND SOME STUFF TO KEEP ON HIS FOOT AND LEG TO KEEP THE SWELLING DOWN. I'LL PROBABLY START HUNTING HIM AGAIN THE FIRST OF THE WEEK. GYPSY MY 12 MONTH OLD PUP HAS DONE OK IN HIS ABSENCE SHE HAS TREED 2 COON 1 DEN AND A BIG OAK THAT HAD A CANOPY OF SMALL TREES AROUND IT THAT MADE IT REAL HARD TO SHINE.

TREED 2 SINGLES TONIGHT BUT LEFT ONE TO RUN ANOTHER NIGHT. SO FAR ITS BEEN A REAL GOOD SEASON TREED I SLICK PERCIMEN, I DEN, 2 BIG OAK TREES THAT I COULD'NT FIND THE COON, 15 TREES WITH COONS IN THEM AND SEEN 21 COON TOTAL AND SHOT OUT 12. ALL SINCE SEASON OPENED. IT REALLY HELPS HUNTING 2 DOGS THAT ARE INDEPENDENT AND ARE HARDLY EVER TOGETHER, BUT MAKES FOR A LOT OF WALKING!!

DOGS WERE SPLIT AGAIN TONIGHT, HERE IS BO'S COONS. THERE IS 3 IN THIS TREE. YOU CAN SE THE EYES OF ONE AND YOU CAN BARELY MAKE OUT ANOTHER BELOW AND TO THE LEFT OF THE ONE YOU CAN SEE.
