Typical SEC garbage comment! In the BCS era, the B10 is 40 and 41 against your conference. Gotta give your conference it`s props, but it always seems those polls are always stacked in the SEC`S favor. Now, ESPN showing all those SEC games, you guys won`t even need a SEC network! WOW, how I hate ESPN.

How has the big ten only lost one game to the sec when Ohio state lost back to back titles to LSU and Florida?

Tennessee is a much better team that Boise as a perennial powerhouse. Just look at the records of the two respective teams.

Bowls, bowls won, national championships etc. Yep just because they have had a few down years doesn't mean anything. Alabama had a few down years a few years ago and now look at them. Same for LSU.

Lots of ways that happens. Time of year, how the games played out etc etc etc.

I wish it was the way it used to be, where strength of schedule counted for something that kept alot of the scrubs that went undefeated against cupcakes out.

But the SEC haters had to change it and now somebody can beat east coastal junior community college the entire year and be in the mix for the title.

The SEC signed a contract with ESPN, that's why they're on every Saturday. Same as Notre Dame did with NBC for it's home games. Honestly, LSU/Florida in Death Valley on Saturday nite at 8 is much more interesting than Boise St./Nevada, anytime, anywhere. Do you really think Boise St beating up on Fresno St. every week to be as entertaining? Have to watch out for Ohio St now with Meyer, but they did get BLASTED 2 years in a row by the SEC. Remember when the Big 10(or 12...) thought Michigan/Ohio St should have repeated for the title, then Florida waxed OSU? Who should have played undefeated LSU in the title game other than Bama this year. Who really had an arguement? Don't rememnber any sort of controversy about that rematch. Oregon lost the first game of the year last year and proved they were a flash in the pan Pac 10 (or 12...) team last year. A 2 team top heavy conference really isn't in contention for a national title. As for an SEC Network, when every major network WANTS to cover your conference, you don't have to go make your own.

Your really going to compare a team that has only been in fbs for a decade? Also its not about what a team has done in years past, its what are they doing NOW?I think we can all agree Boise would have embarrassed the majority of teams in the SEC the last 4 years. If you really don't believe that then your just being biased.

Look Alabama and LSU are powerhouse teams that on any given year are hard to beat. I dont deny that. The rest of the SEC is AVERAGE. With several below average.

Boise and TCU could play and beat anyone on any given weekend the last several years. Look for TCU to dominate the big 12 in the near future and Boise dominate the Big East. You guys can root for your billion dollar programs that can get any player they want however they have to get them and I will keep enjoying when the little guy beats up on the big boy.

Middle of the road at best on any given Saturday. You don't get the weekend off here, you got a big boy EVERY Saturday. Good luck with Syracuse, Louisville, etc. and TCU with Rice and SMU!! Try not to pull a hammy, you might get what you wish for in Dec./Jan!!!!

There's a reason the SEC has to play up most of the time in bowl games. It's to make it competitive. In other words the SEC 4th place team usually plays another conference 2nd place team. In the 90s they tried to do it closer to even and the SEC went something like 13-1 in bowl games so they said forget that lets' make it more competitive and they started having the SEC play up more "to have better games". Also, the conference that is playing in the NC game has to play up as well as that is a 1 vs 1 so both of those conferences have their 2nd place team going where their 1st place usually goes so that puts the SEC playing up even more in those years.

Used to you could compare conference strength during bowl games because they tried to match the teams even, but after the SEC started dominating in the 90s they changed it and now you can't do that any more because a conferences number 1 team beating the SEC's 4th place team really doesn't prove anything (and vice versa).

Boise would have been a middle of the pack SEC team at best during their best years. That's just the way it is.

Tennessee would have been a top 5 team over the last several years with Boise's schedule instead of them having to play in the SEC.

Congrats to Boise for finally getting in a more competitive conference, even if it is the worst conference in major college football. (they were considering stripping them of their automatic bid, now that would be somthing else LOL).

Easy Rip, may get flood waters from north and south!!LOL!! I'd really hate to see the Big East, and that term is now used loosely, get stripped of their automatic bid. Good Lord, what would be next?LOL!! Fact is, Boise never got a real look, or TCU for that matter, in the early 2000's because they honestly didnot play anybody. Granted, some of the nonconference games for both those teams got better, they also played teams that were good the year before but lost everything they had the following year. Case in point would be Utah St and Auburn last year. UA bout dumped that one, but then the mighty Clemson Tigers thought they won it all when they did beat UA the following week. Do you think Cam Newton looses to Clemson? Not if you know football.

Boise has yet to name their QB but I'm guessing it will be standout true freshman Nick Patti.

Kentucky would prolly run the table in the big east every year, if Boise doesn't win a majority of the conference titles in the big east it will just prove what everybody already claims, good against a good team once a year and dominate weak teams every week.

Kentucky vs. Louisville definitely wasn't as good a game as I thought, but Kentucky was sure to contribute to the whooping by fumbling the ball when the got close to scoring. Oh well at least bama rocked the big ten.

Tenn. looked good Ala. looked great , Ga. looked good too,,,,i didn't get to watch a full game except Boise and Mich. lol to me it almost looked as if Mich. was trying to give the game away ,,,,, The Bell kid didn't give uo though ,,he's tough.

You do realize that Miss. State has consecutive bowl wins.
Vandy is a program on the rise and would be a tough match up for a lot of teams.
Kentucky took Louisville to the wire last year when Louisville was co-champs, so yes I still believe they would run the table in the Big east.
AandM won a bowl last year, destroyed smu and beat Baylor(something tcu couldn't do) p.s. tcu beat Boise at Boise.

3 of those teams started of with a win with one not playing and one losing to another sec school.

Last year 2 of the 3 teams that were the top of the big east lost to an sec team. WVU to LSU and Cinci to Tenn, Kentucky lost to Louisville by 7.
