5. Stylish????

Stylish who aint there about 50 Stylish dogs....... or do they all go back to one? i'm not much on Walkers (maybe ya can tell)...... but if i were to swap i'd get a little Finley River, Cutter, Wipe Out Zack and cross him with a good Utchman Blue dog and single reg. English

Nah, there's a guy with a (GOOD) Rock River Stone dog here, and he has had some good pups turn out off of him, so i'd prolly go with one of his..........

Red Eagle Dick/ finley river

I believe that I am sold on Red Eagle Dick line bred hounds. When this thread was originally posted, I did not have one. I bought one, and that is my favorite because I like the way he tracks and trees with accuracy. He has old House breeding on his dam's side (no Lipper and no Clint). Kentucky Judy is in there of course. LOL

Hunted with two directly out of Finley River Dan years ago, great mouths , acted like hounds, didn't miss, not overly mouthy, HAD THE MEAT. Wish I could find something similar now.

I bought my Red Eagle hound from Cody Hanson. The above link is to his sight. His hounds are all Red Eagle Dick line bred. Some have more Finley River than others.

You know my little Sackett/Boone (Sackett is her paternal grandfather and Boone is her maternal grandfather) gyp has a fair amount of Finley River blood in her as well. She is only one year old, but is all business and makes an excellant brace mate with Red Eagle Thor. Both are open backed and have the rough Finley River type coats. Thor is not titled because he has never been entered into a night hunt. I am going to start taking him this fall. I would expect he will get titled. If anyone wants a poke from him, let me know. I will e-mail you his pedigree. He kind of has a unique blood in addition to the Red Eagle Dick and Finley River.

He is accurate and a very smart hound that is easy to handle. One of his biggest faults is that he still likes to tree cats, bobcat or house, because I have not really set about breaking him from that yet. When I get to the tree and ask him what he has, he shows me where on the tree the meat went up and chatters and barks the whole time while looking at me and the tree. He hunts to please me. A very enjoyable hound.

I hunt big game all winter my best waker dog is a female out of hopkins cash top side and a marosok's bred female. The whole litter was excellent. I had a female out of Tree Blaster that was really cold nosed hard tree dog not real fast but always there.
I had a male Cadillac Style dog hard hard hunting dog just the right amount of tree lots of speed/track no quit He also loves to coon hunt. We have a female out of Nalior medium dog. I bred the Cadillac dog to a female out of Sacket Jr. they are turning out to be real good dogs. We have a Lipper/Yakin Tar Rattler dog is getting old now one of the fastest cold nose hard tree dogs we have had.

first of all

i dont know as much as alot of dumb guys but i know much more than some guys that know everything! but anyway, we have house/deanwood drifter breeding with a little others mixed in.and from what i have seen i really dont plan on changing the base to much. ihave seen and heard some good about rock river from guys i believe, so now we introduced that and fromwhat we are seeing from some of these year and a half old s we did gooood!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ just seems we have nose mouth brains looks disposition(trashfree) stamina long lived healthy dogs, not bragging just feeling lucky,im just using what we lucked into and trying to not mess it up!
