Are you for real?? Obviously you dont know anything about football! The reason the offenses struggled was due to the top defensive play!! Boise St. aint even in the same league as those 2 teams. Anybody that gives up the points they did to Air Force and Tulsa couldnt even tote Bama's or LSU's water bucket!! I tell ya what I'll do! If Boise St. was to make it to the BCS title game against LSU or BAMA, I'll go straight up with you on the game for $500!!!

The only comment I'll make is that when a team chooses to not recruit scholarship quality kickers to make room for other positions it just might come back to haunt them. I bet there will be a kicker recruited in the 2012 class. JMO

Granted it was an ugly game but, that's what ypou get when two top defenses collide. If it would have been a blow out or a high scoring game how could you say either team had a superb defense. Two equally matched teams that played a tough ballgame. LSU came out on top but it was hairraising down to the wire.

im not trying to trash anyone. they both have a great defense and overall good talent. lets not lie to eachother though. one team uses 2 qb and the other didnt pick its starting qb until the 2nd game. its definately both teams weak link. LSU pass defense had holes in it and alabama only managed to complete a handful of passes. the better team lost because they couldnt throw the ball effectively. at least the better team that night. im curious to see how this year ends up. college football in general this year seems to be a little weak, in my opinion.

about everybody on espn that i heard talk about it said it was a bad call.his entire body was laying on the ground when the ball was stripped. there was a slight bobble on the way down but he hit the ground with the ball on his chest and then it was taken. to each his own though. nothing said now really changes anything.

you just said it "bobble", which means he lost control and the ball was up for grabs. lsu came up with it. I thought it was a bad call untill I watched the replay. I must have missed the replay you saw.
I would have never thought lsu would have won the game in ot. I figured bama had it in the bag then.

here is the video, at 1:13 the ball starts coming out and the reciever is not on the ground yet. at 1:14 the recievers right hand is completely off the ball and the defender has a hand on it, they have still not hit the ground.

The one mistake that was not mentioned was letting the time run out in regulation after the LSU third down play!!!!!

Saban got out coached!!!!!

I watched two coaches that was afraid to open up the game!!!!! That is why the score was so low!!!!!!

Saban blinked first!!!!

LSU beat Alabama.Not the best game I've ever seen but LSU won.Thats all that matters.The refs called it they way they saw it.
Let it rest now.a whole new ball game to be played next week

Gotta give some love to LSU! Anyone who follows college football knows how tough it is to win on the road! Might not have been the most exciting game, but those defenses are really, really good.
As for not being able to score against those defenses, I believe Stanford
could put some points on the board, but I doubt they could win the game.

I am a Bama fan through and through.I wanted Bama to win.To me, we just looked flat the whole 4th qtr.

But look on the positive side, Bama has a commitment from the #1 kicker in the nation RTR
