Dairy Cattle's Bone is very Thin Also and is the Main cause of the Ball breaking off the Feamer when they slip and fall..

I believe this all comes from the Con't Milking/Caving and being striped of Fats and Calcium..

Actual Qty. Fat for Dog Food is More expansive than the Actual Protein Cost ..

Those that are interested in the raw diets and are wondering how to supplement go to www. sleddogcentral.com. Their disscusion forums have a ton of info on that topic.

PZAAZZ food is a very good food

It is a 26-18 food I have fed it for about 6 yrs now, with excellent results. You get one solid stool a day..dogs do well in the winter and summer on it. It is made in Mo.

I think that depends on were you get it. I fed 15- 50 lb. bags.
Lot more stool, dogs coat lost shine and hsd to feed more to mantain weight. Switched back to Diamond High Energy. Wieght and shine is back.

Majsetic, around here you can go to the slaughter house and get beef fat for free. If you wanted to add some to the mix.
What do you use to grind the meat up and what do you keep it in till you feed it?

I had a few Local Butchers save Up their Fat and Trimmings then I have them Grind it with their Big Grinders .. That Stuff is Very Hard to Grind .. But they Charge me about $0.37 per pound for it .. I got about 50# 2 weeks ago .. I Mix it about 3/8 of a Cup per Bowl of Food ..

I'am Feeding right now 50#s of Dry Feed per Day.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Freeze It . then take out 2 bags per day to thaw and Feed

Heres the Grider and you can do about 400# in a hour with it !!

Eash Tray Hold about 35#s of Ground Beef .. And I Pack about 5#s in 1 Gal Zip Lock

Man your right that dont have much fat in it. They have to pay to get rid of the fat here so they are gald for you to come get it. I have know the two here and cut there hair for 23 years. So I could get it anyway. Can't bleeive they charge you for it. They grind a lot to add to deer meat here and it looks like big marbles. Makes it easy to feed. I need to get a extra freezer and add some to my dogs feed. Might get the old lady off my back about the cadaver being in the freezer.
She has given me heck for years but now that I am not training cadaver dogs she has steped it up a notch. I might get back into it in time though. I have placentas from my grand kids still in there. One of them was used to train dogs that worked at the 9-11 deal among a lot of others and I am not just throwing them away. LOL
