I ain't goin out to measure......

But I will go out and play with a certian little girl who is so excited she wants breakfast NOW because last night I told her we would go out and play in the snow after we ate breakfast and it warmed up. She has no patience, wonder where she got that from LOL.

We got about 4-6 inches with supposedly 1-3 more to come today.

I'm gonna try my best to go coonhuntin in this tonight. Nothing would be prettier than to have good pictures of black dogs on the tree in this.

Of course the coons could have more sense than us and not get out in it, but I still bet it will be fun.

WOW!

Looking PRETTY in PIX! ....
17 degrees here right now but "feels like 6" LOL... THat sure makes ME wanna go take care of the chickens.... Bob is out there now watering etc... tossing some scratch etc. When He comes in I'll head out and do my chores... throw extra feed etc... THe birds will all come in early to roost. I just called my 90 yr old mother in Boston to be sure SHE charges her cell phone, has someone with her tonight etc... I hope it misses Boston so I don't fret about her..... I will still fret....
I will be sure to get some pix tomorrow if it gets pretty here too....
Maggie looks ADORABLE in the snow! I LOVE to see the dawgs play in it...but even better seeing the KIDS! Hoping to see some good playtime pix later on!!!

Thank God I have 28" hounds !!!

Its Getting DEEP !!

Dennis I having trouble Finding the Right F-Stop in this Lighting !!

Plus Snow on the Lens !! lol I need to put the Hood and Filter on and Try some more

Well I put the Polarizer Filter on and the Hood and they turned out alittle Better .. But this was in a very fast Apature..

I just turn out 12 Puppies Loose in it..

No flash on any of these. They were shot with the canon 55-250mm 4.5

This one was shot with flash and the canon 50mm 1.4.

No I have the Flash Off most of the Photos were about 50' or more .. I tried a few with the Flash But it looked like a White Out with the Reflection off the Falling Snow ..

I just Tried to open the 3/8 mile Drive way .. their was some drifting up to 3' .. It a Very dry small Snow flake and it Flows like water .. I pushed and it would flow right back in ..

we are in West Virginia
havent measured here in alittle bit but there was 22 inches at last check

We have 12 on the ground now, the county executive just called with a recorded message stating that the governor has placed Maryland in a state of emergency and has restricted travel, and that we should anticipate possiblity of a total of around 24 to 30 inches when it ends, then the winds are supposed to pick up also shortly to 20-25 mph with gusts up to 35 this evening. wife is at the hospital working and has been put on lock down not allowing anyone to leave, anyone there is to remain on duty until atleast sunday night to monday morning.
