Well the holiday weekend slowed things down just a bit. I have been receiving a few surveys pretty regular through the mail and the survey at Oakridge's web page is at 443. I think our total is 496 surveys completed and received as of July 4, 2009.

I had some friends handing out surveys over the weekend. So hopefully most who git one will take the time to send them to me.

To date only about 10% of the people that I have given a survey to has completed and returned it. That actually is a typical response rate on a survey, but I believe coon hunters can do better.

Please if you got a survey fill it out and drop it in the mail to me. If you haven't filled one out yet, please stop by

If you haven't filled out a survey yet, please do. The higher the number of surveys the greater the impact the survey will have on legislators and wildlife managers.

Great news, we broke the 500 mark! As of 9:00 am this morning 503 surveys have been completed and returned.

I really wasn't sure how well the collection of surveys would go and I am very pleased to break this mark.

Fact remains the more numbers the better our overall results, and the greater the impact on the legislators and wild life managers.

Keep up the great work out there everyone!

Today marks 30 days that I have been asking for coon hunters to fill out Coon Hunting Impact Surveys.

To this date we now have 514 surveys completed and turned in. That is a very good response. I would like to thank everyone for their past and continued help.

If you haven't filled out a survey, please let me know if I can help. If you have filled out a survey, please pass the word around to your fellow coon hunters.

The greater the numbers the more significant the finally report will be.

Canada was supposed to be added as a choice shortly after Autumn asked. It maybe at the bottom of the list. I will check it and see.

Yep, Canada is at the end of the list. I got 4 more surveys Saturday. I have had help handing out surveys at events, and I believe close to 300 surveys have been handed out.

If your club is having a big hunt this summer and you would like some surveys to hand out, please let me know and I will do my best to get ya some.

We didn't get any responses last night at all. Our numbers are very respectable, but I would like to see the best number possible. It would be very nice if the response its self stands out to legislators and wildlife managers.
