Stumbled on this old thread while doing some research.
Uncanny timing.
Had to bring it back up for some reminiscing.
Mostly pages 2and 3.

I had the fortune of hauling a female to meet Hammer IX at Dave's "Cabin".
Dave was a polite gentleman and host.
He had a bumper that was bent in half like a hair pin in his yard .I finally asked him about it. If my memory is correct after all these years..He fell asleep on the way home after a hunt and T-boned a tree.He kept it there to remind him.

Michigan blue rebel. Hard going hound die out quick locating and produced the same. Rebel produced north star blue Yankee and north star blue sarah. Was fortunate enough to have one. Accurate fast locating with a coon anywere ya put him

1 of the closest living males that I know of hes still young yet( 13 months ) but is a super nice young dog so far time will tell if I decide to breed him later on but for now just hunting him. the fly dog also goes back to spike and hammer ll quite a bit.

Been out of coon hunting for a while and just now getting back into it. I walked many a mile with Mr Bill Culbertson. At that time he was hunting Bayou Blue Smut and Bayou Blue BoBo. Good man who I made alot of great memories with. Looking forward to hitting the woods this fall with a new blue dog.
