Makes perfect sense huh. LOL

I can guarantee that 99 out of the next 100 times this exact scenario goes down if it ever does happen ever again it doesnt get scored the way Allen ruled.

Judging

What kind of a sorry dog would stay barking at a hole after he/she watched a coon come out of it????? My point is if these dogs were to be minused, then UKC's rules aren't sufficient at judging a real coondog. In a rare situation like this, where all cast member's saw the coon, an exception should be added to the rules. Plus em' all. Time out. Get your dogs.

On our Supreme Court we have 9 judges (among the best judges in the country). The cases that come before them require them to interpret our laws and apply them to the case brought before them. They are frequently split on their determination.

When our 9 top judges in the country can't agree on how to apply our laws (rules) to a case, is it any wonder that nite hunt judges don't always agree on the proper interpretation and application of nite hunt rules to cover a particular situation.

We do have a similar type of situation. Judgement is made in the woods. It can be questioned and appealed to the master of Hounds. If still a disagreement, it can be appealed to UKC. Whether we feel it is a correct or incorrect judgement, UKC does have the final say. It has to stop somewhere!!!
