certain breeds better than the other....

I dont think that any specific breed is better than the other.
all hunters and breeders have a diffrent outlook on that though.
I think the out come of a dog depends on the blood lines, the time spent on the dog.. and how much drive the dog has to hunt. Every one has there oppinion on what dog is better based on alot of factors.. just depends on the dog.. and the person hunting it.

Well to some extent that is true' I've seen some Walkers that are as good as they come, but if you get one of those that is from that certain breeding, there is nothing anyone can do to stop the extra treeing they have. You might improve upon it, but cure it no! Sorry guys but it is true and you all know it...or should.

Gentlemen, Please. Them dogs hes talkin bout is just so fassssssssst on track that they beat the coon there. Thats why we always spend about 20 minutes lookin the tree over, we's waitin for the coon to get there, sometimes the coon takes too long and we make another dump till he gets there, and when he does the good dogs always go back and tree again.

all of them the same!

i Vote that not oone breed is more acrate than the other but the dog i hunt now is bout 9 out of 10 trees accurate period. He is 5 and has just recently got this accurate when he was 2 he was bout 5 out of 10 then when he was 3 or 4 he was bout 7 or 8 out of 10 now this past season i think i only walked to 2 slick trees all season and i treed bout 20 or 30. The last time he slick treed was bout november. Also i count a sure enough den.( a tree with a hole i can see that a coon can fit in) as gettin it) these are so far and few between it dont matter though. I am also in thick coon country down here in ms right now also so that might have somthin to do with it. bTW he is an english dog! The other dogs round here put (coons in holes in the ground a lot) But i know better them is dillos, but i still cant convince the other hunters tound here thats what there dog is doin. Mine has yet to tree a coon in a hole in the ground round here.
