ah, also another thing that would be cool if Diamond did would be to supply free puppy starter kits like Purina does.. those are pretty nice for pet homes!

Just curious,

has anyone ever fed any Eagle pack dog food?

I fed a bag and my dogs loved it, it was the 30/20...

I have never fed it but I know a guy that swears by it. The thing with these feeds is that they make different formulas. Some aren't worth a dang, while one of their formulas may be good. Its so expensive to make an entire line of top shelf formulas that many have to use a number of cheaper formulas to afford to make one decent one. The Eagle formula that he feeds he calls the "power pack" Being that you were speaking of a 30/20 formula, I would bet thats the one. He uses it and is one of the best conditioners that I know of.

i don;t know anyone personally that was affected but going on reports that were made at the time some said they recovered all there loses some say they got nothing and i did notice there were some that tried collecting that never fed diamond not to mention name but one poster on his forum reported she always fed purina then when the recall went out she posted how sick her dogs were from eating it.
anyway purina had the same problem years back no recall was evermade purina also had a problem with cow feed what happened with diamond we were told test on the corn could be clean when tested and yet when product was tested as a finished product tested positive and really this could happen to any dog food and other animal food at any time. by the way in an animal publication it was stated purina recalled the cattle feed and remixed it with new feed to weaken the amount consumed by the cattle if this is true i can't say but thats what was published

I know several people in my sport who excell using Eagle Pack. I actually like Redpaw better (If I ever did switch), but both of those feeds are not available down here and you either have to ship it in or go and get it. I got two coupons fof 2 free bags of Eagle pack at a past race but it was pointless because there was nowhere to get it lol ended up giving them to a friend, and she said her dogs did excellent on it. I dont feed anything under 30/20 unless its summer.

which one, redpaw or eaglepack?
Redpaw is fish based.
