I really feel this website can help us all in doing research and the more we have the better it will be. Even if you don't have any pedigrees, you can enter in pedigrees you find in the magazines. I've been entering in several. We already have thousands of dogs in the database, check it out everyone.

There is only like 1975 walkers enter in this database. COME ON GUYS CHECK THIS OUT AND ADD YOUR DOGS PEGIDREE, weather it is titled or not. I have entered at least a couple dozen.

ok here we go
1. i know the dam and sire of a hound in my dogs pedigre that isnt in the database
1. when i try and edit her dam and sire i cant
i put them in and save and nothing happens

Smokey7, you are activated.

bobbyG, I think I know what's going on. You can't add the parents because they are probably not already in the database. To add them there, they need to be. So, this is what you need to do. Add the parents, one at a time, just like you put your other dog in. Just leave the Sire and Dam blank for them, assuming you don't know them, pick their gender, and breed, any titles they have and save them. Once that is done, go to your dog, edit the parents and their names should now show up. Save it, refresh the page, and you should have it. Let me know if it works.
