I didn't see this thread in time. I went out hunting though. The last few months that last week the seems to get real busy for some reason. Fill me in though about the meeting if someone would. p.s. I even a have a dog that trees coon every now and then!

hey guys sorry i didnt make it, some friends talked me into a 'halloween' party in mankato last night lol. Jesse and Kasten you guys gonna get out at all next week? lets all get out. Enough with the stupid little games, we're all supposed to be friends, and its over dogs, its not worth it we all know our dogs can tree coon and we all know our dogs can look like absolute Sht..

Thanks Dana.

We briefly discussed having a youth hunt for club member's dogs but we didn't get any of the details set. I would like to target Nov 21 or 22. That's a Fri or Sat and the main deer hunting season will be over.
Anybody have ideas for prizes? I would like to make sure every participant gets something. I was thinking a Cabela's $10 gift card and their picture on the internet.
Let me know what you think guys and we'll make this happen.

Hey Andy, I know I could probably pull together a few prizes for the hunt. I know last year i couldnt get cabelas to donate nothing unless i bought something there and they would match whatever price it was on the item I purchased to donate. The kids can get the pictures on the internet and in the magazine as well. I ll talk to you sometime andy and see what I can get together.Thanks!

Saturday Nov 22 6pm at my place will be the Owatonna Club's youth hunt. Any member is eligible to bring a youth and dog.

Official rules will be announced that night but we will try to accomodate whatever makes it most enjoyable for the kids.

Thanks guys for the ideas. Dana, I will be sure to get some pics and it would be great get them on here. I thought I would check with Cumberlands too since most of our members sell hides there.

This should be a fun event and I am looking forward to it!

i'll be there and will help in any way i can. I am excited, it should be a great time. Andy one of jesses little ones will be hunting my dog, if were gonna be short on dogs let me know, i can probably come up with 1 or 2 more.

Sportsman Stop in Waseca is going to donate a few little things and I exchanged our deer hides for some gloves at Uber Glove Company in Owatonna. It's not much, but I think the kids will like it.
