Let's not go there.....

I judged your dog on two of the nights that he did really well.... I also judged him one night and he had a slick, and treed on a couple of den trees. Just like the dog I was hunting, it took him four attempts to pass. Mine did not have any faults....in four nights, but you judged him....so you know what he did the night we did not tree a coon....

The simple fact is that when it's all said and done, nobody will remember, and nobody really cares who was "first" and nobody cares about "perfection"....

There are all just dogs.

I'll be happy to schedule some more hunt tests as long as folks come to them...... Come on down and be the "first" HTX2......

OLIE IT REALY DOESNT MATTER WE ALL PASSED THE HTX . AND I HAD FUN!! I LIKE THE HTX BETTER THEN UKC REG HUNTS . CAUSE THERE KNOW PROBLEMS . YOU REALY CAN SEE WHO HAS A COON DOG WHEN YOU HUNT A HTX.THEY SHOULD MAKE EVERYONE HUNT THE HTX. BEFORE THEY LET ANYONE ENTER IN A UKC HUNT!!!!!!! THANKS JAY.

Please do call them....and ask them if the night that Diamond did NOT pass the test if he had a fault.

I know what I said, and you did pass the test with three hunt tests without faults. The fourth test we did not see a coon. The same night, both of us could not get one bushed......you are exactly right.

And yes....I entered a female that I had a large tumor taken off of in the spring, raised a litter of puppies, and had not had her in the woods hunting since March...took her to the hunt test in late October and she got hung up twice on the same fence...... Both times within about a 100 yards of each other...made for a short night.

Look, I'm not trying to stir trouble..... All I know is that there were three dogs that finished the hunt test degree on the same night. Jay's dog did it in three nights, you and I both did it in four nights. Neither of us had faults marked on the three nights that we passed the test.....

Who was first? Shoot I don't know, and personally I don't care.....it's not worth it. I was excited aobut the HTX tests, but if it's going to be a big argument about who did what when....then it defeats the purpose.

i entered my dog in the last hunt test didnt pass big deal .shoots if i would have passed i sure wouldnot be crying who was first or if i had afault thing i go to ukc myself to make sure i did faill boo hoo;

OLIE IF YOU REMEBER 4 DID PASS THAT NIGHT HE TREE 2 COON AND HAD 1 FAULT . AND THREE TREE 1 COON AND KNOW FAULTS REMEBER 4 LAST TRACK WAS A BAD TRACK AND HEE TREE AND HAD THE COON. DIDNT YOU GO U.K.C. AND CHECK THE PAPER WORK?????????????

I'm sorry you feel that way.

I'm also sorry that I was unaware (if you can find any instructions on how to handle the paperwork for the hunt tests, please share it with me) that the club was to keep the hunt test "scorecards" and only send in the result sheets. So I sent them all in to UKC. Please don't make accusations that I would file anything false with UKC without proof....that simply is not true, and is nothing more than an attack on my character that is unwarrented, and untrue.

By the way, when you called UKC, did you ask them how many faults Thorn had? You made a statement that we looked at "several" slick trees with Thorn.... I'm pretty sure that there were no faults on him either.... Not picking a fight, just asking.

I'll stick to what I said....there was one night that both you and I hunted that we did not look at a coon, except the one that Thorn ran past us on the ground, and into a hole in the ground that we could not score on. If you like, I'll be happy to walk you back to the very tree that I'm talking about. It's up to you to remember that night, or not...I'm not going to fight about it. In the grand scheme of things, it really does not matter.

Please don't go away mad. I've told folks that your dog is a nice dog that trees coon. I will continue to ask anyone that asks that very same thing.

Ive been in some immature arguments before, but this TAKES THE CAKE.... This has got to be the dumbest thread ever. MODERATE this UKC and delete it. Ive been with alot of these dogs you all are speaking of. All of tham are coondogs nad all will make mistakes. There dogs not gods...

P.S. the hunt tests are suppose to help prevent this stuff but look at you guys... Ill never enter a hunt test but you better bet if you wanna put your dog up against mine Ill do it..
