Roy thanks, they will be hitting it about the time the kittens are getting out and around pretty good. Both pups have good actions and you can hear them. See you and Timmy next week, have them Blue dogs ready!

We took Riptide and Doc last nite as we have not been hunting Riptide much and hate to see him set plus he has put on a few pounds, Doc has a long ways to go to get to the old mans level. We made three dumps and made two trees and both had coons. We got a few pictures and one short sound video of the two of them treeing.

Well it is only (8) days until the Reunion. Only been to Marshall once and it stormed all night. Looked like good hunting but the night we hunted it rained so hard we could not even shine some trees and it even blew off a few roofs and downed some trees. Hoping the weather is nice and they have a good turn out, and get to see some other nice Blue Dogs work. Last but not least some good food!

Took Jet and Doc last night and had a pretty darn good hunt. Last dump we just cut Doc and he got I there and made short order of one on a big tree with an old Deer stand in it, it was there. Pretty proud of Doc last night. Doc is just 11 months old but ahs been treeing his own coon for a while, lots of work but he has what it takes.

Time we get home from the Reunion in MO. It will only be a few days and it will be time to head to the Zone 4 championship/Fred Lingo Memorial April 28th.29th.Bryant Ind.. Hoping for a little luck and some good hound work. Getting to meet some very good Blue Hounds men and seeing some good hound work. Not long after this it will be time to head to Bellevue Michigan for Bluetick Days.

Getting some good reports on Riptides litter out of Steve Carters Dancer Bitch. Know of three that is treeing their own coons, loud mouths and real nice tree dogs. They are 11 months old, it is not any type of record but this cross is headed in the right direction. One I think will be at Bluetick days this year and two just getting started by Steve and two in New York we have not heard anything for a while, last we heard they were just starting when the snow kicked in. Next ones we will be starting is out of Riptide and Roy Cliftons Robin Bitch, four months old and will be starting to take them out in the next month or two, should be some tree dogs out of this cross!

Took Doc by himself again tonight and we had a pretty good night as to hitting coons. We made 5 dumps and made 4 trees. Seen two coons and one we could not find anything and one should have been but wasn't!

Thanks Roy. We are heading out now for the Zone 4 Championship/Fred Lingo Memorial hunt in Bryant IN.. Calling for a lot of rain but hope it holds off. About a 5 hour haul each way.

We just breed to Riptide a 5 year old coon treeing bitch that is very loud! Bella is a 50 lb. compact hound that is put together very good. We have Bella here at the house and will have her until she goes out of heat. Been hoping to breed to a Pounder Bitch or one with Mackie Creek Bo Jack and Bella is about as close to both as we are going to get. I have added a poor picture of her and her pedigree. We will be providing more info. after we know what and how many she has, has some real coon getters in this pedigree. The pups will be UKC performance, PKC Super Staked and CHKC Super Stud Registered, they will be located in North Central Indiana.

Took Doc by himself and the wind was a really knocking the hill sides down. We did hit coons all three places we dumped. Treed once and could not find it, one slick and treed one coon. Last track Doc did a real nice job on and took the track about 340 yards thru some real rough stuff and had it. Still needs more tracks like this and not the short pop ups, old sows. Doc struck out of the UTV and yes there was a coon along the setting up. Going to start hooking him in the back and not in the box and see how it goes, I believe he has the nose to get it done! Doc is a year old this week.

We took Doc last night but we had a hard time getting one up and going. The only track we hit was and old one and he moved it and hit up but never lock it down. We never even seen a deer or grinner last night and that is does not hapen very often. Going to hit it agian tonight and take Riptide along and see if can get one put up. He is a little over weight but should not hurt as cool as it has been, Doc will make him hump it! LOL!

Been asked by a few already as to a due date on this cross and the answer is should be around July 5th., and yes they are going to be UKC performance, PKC Super Staked and CHKC Super Sired.

Just got in from a short hunt with Riptide and Doc. First Dump county road to next county road and nothing. Picked them up and next drop right at 800 yards and struck and ran about 200 yards and treed, had one. Next dump we hit pretty quick and treed in a large Pine tree and got a picture of the coon, hard to believe setting on a branch out in the open. Doc looked good on the second one, real good!

Had a couple ask what Riptides Sire looked like and his tree style was, best we could do. Sledge on the Left and Riptide on the Right. When Sledge came on a tree you did not have to wait!

We too Riptide and Doc tonight and man did the coons run. First one they hit hot and ran about 950 yards and treed one in a pine tree and had it. Second drop they hit and not a real good track but ended up treeing a big old den after about 350 yards. Third drop we just dropped Doc and hit and treed at about 325 yards, did a nice job. Forth dump we dumped Riptide and Doc and they hit and was in there about 700 yards and too close to a house, got within 200 yards and called them off.

We just got a couple Picture loaded that we got from one of the guys with a litter mate male out of Riptide. Added two pictures of Willis and two pictures of Doc. Both doing a nice job for being a year old. Trying to get a few more pictures from some others hunting Riptide pups.

Man not a stellar night tonight. First dump Doc got in there and got struck and we drove up to get a little closer and when we got out to go to him treed Doc and us both just about got ran over by a heard of Deer. Doc got spooked and did not like it at all. It took him a while to get over it. Never seen anything like it. Seen a many young dogs drive one like that out of the country. Doc has never ran any junk nor has he treed a grinner yet!!!! We also noticed his voice was not what it should be but thought maybe it was us. Next dump Doc took a track out of there and got treed and he did not tree right nor did he sound good at all, did not seem to feel good so we came on in, did not want him to strain anymore than he already had. Getting Corey to call the vet in the morning and see what the issue is. There is always another night!

Got back from Bluetick days and found Doc and Max both to be real hoarse. Went to the vet and he put both of them on Amoxi-Tabs 500 MG and Prednisone 20 MG. Started them on it Monday night and hope it clears soon. If a guy did not have bad luck he would not have any luck at all!
