Gator
Decided to wet a hook early this morning. I fish at the same places that I hunt. Started to grab the 22 but picked up my tally ho stick to kill snakes with. Made my way in to the slough near the creek and there on the bank, right out in the open was the Gator that I have been after. Knew I should have brought the rifle. This Gator looked better than half grown to me-heck the longer I looked the bigger it looked. This one is sorted shy cause it took off in the water towards the Creek-gold medal swimmers can't swim that fast. I caught Bluegill, Redeye, Warmouth and Catfish. Would feel a whole lot better if I had got that Gator. The Gator is just like the Snakes-take care of them now and I don't have to deal with that one again later. I have been around them a lot in my life starting with South Georgia, then South Carolina while in the Marine Corps, East Texas and Louisiana while living out there and now more and more often right here in Middle Georgia. In more ways than one, just call me a Gator Hater!
