to Derek pretty often. They are working and hunting. Big Jero was looking for a young dog not long ago, you need to send him one down there . I know you got some good ones. Eugene Mooney took that picture of Rags a few years ago in MS on a hunt.

i have always liked that picture. As crazy as it sounds you can tell from looking at the pic. he has a loud mouth and is a tree dog.

Ride and girl treed deep in the knobs last nite. Took bout an hour to walk in to them. Finally got there and they were hammered on a great big den tree. O ride is a hard tree dog that for certain.

i don't daniel. If Smash (scar x sissy ) keeps coming on i may breed my grnite Jazz female to him. He has a super mouth, trees hard like scar, splits almost every hunt with a coon and looks like scar. We are very high on him . Terry Hilliard will be putting him in some hunts soon.

Ruff one last night, O Stepper went in 6 tenths and treed, at about a tenth left he hushed, something told me to go on in there because he had been treed right, get in there and its a cedar and he is climbing, I have to climb and get him by the leg and pull him to me, then Cotton and 2Stepper go 1.25 and tree, get in there and it is a cedar and O 2 is up in it, like to never got him down, Im half dead today and my O Buddy Jim just pmed me and wants to go tonight, he fell and cut his elbow bad and aint hunted for a while so I guess I got to take a handful of Ibuprophen and try it again tonight.

Bob, I thought I had to climb every den tree and many just to knock the coon out. I have hunted many nights alone with one dog and clumb trees just to show the dog his coon. When you fall, not if you fall and live through it you'll decide not to climb again. I can't say I never climb but it's only to get a dog or a few feet high. Besides that at my age it's not good to make the young pups look bad that have trouble getting into their deer stands. A little story, a coon hung up one night about 12 feet up, the man I was with thought he would climb the tree and get it out for his young dog. He clumb for about 5 minutes and said he couldn't make it and was coming down, I told him to straighten his legs out and he would be on the ground. About 30 seconds later I grabed the coon and threw it down. The man told me that if I told anyone he would choke me. Good advise Bob!
