A dear friend of mine lost her 18 year old daughter in a car crash this week. They buried her today. I didn't know what to say to her. I could only look at her and cry. She will miss her baby girl so badly for the rest of her life. I know we are not supposed to ask "why".......but WHY!????
My heart hurt so badly for her and her family. Please say a prayer for them. They are a very close family. God is the center.
Bless them, Lord. Please guide them!!

Luke 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

Luke 15:5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Luke 15:6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Have you ever read the above parable and thought about it. I suppose that most people think of being compared to sheep as a nice little fuzzy and cute animal as a compliment. But I heard this and thought it would be good to share it with the rest of guys. Now Jesus compared us to sheep for a reason. The first thing we must know about sheep is that they are dumb. I mean isn't alot of people just dumb. Think about it, they just can't seem to believe God made the world but believe we came from fish and monkeys. Which one seems more logical and easier. I mean some people may have alot of book smarts but they are just plain dumb when it comes to common sense. The second thing we need to know about sheep is that they will naturally stray from the flock. The sheep will get to nibbling the green grass here, alittle over here, and alittle over there and before you know it they have strayed from the flock not meaning to get lost. As people don't we do the same thing. I mean the grass gets alittle bit green over here and then alittle green over there and before we know it we have strayed from the flock, not even meaning to get lost. The third thing to remember about sheep is that they will follow each other for no reason. I mean one sheep will start to walk off and the rest will just follow and not even know if the leader knows where he is going. How many people today are following a sheep instead of the shepeard? I mean don't we all know someone who is being lead a stray right now. The last thing to know about sheep is that they are defenseless. I mean a sheep is totaly defenseless. They can't out run anything and they have noway of fighting something off. Now we see why it is so important for sheep to have a shepeard. Also we can see why Jesus compared us to sheep. I mean he gave us his word so that we could follow and have examples to live our life because he knew we couldn't do it by ourselves. God knew we was going to stray from him so he sent us Jesus the good shepeard that would come and seek us when we strayed. God knew that we would have the tendency to follow the sheep that was going to lead us down the wrong paths and he sent Jesus so we could have someone who would bring us back to the flock. And God knew that if we stood out by ourselves that we would be defenseless against satan. I mean me and you are no match for satan by ourselves, but with Jesus satan is no match for our lord and saviour. So we should be thankful that God loved his sheep enough to seed us the good Shepeard. Also be thankful that Jesus loves us enough as a individuals to seek us individualy. I mean he will leave the 99 in the flock to seek the one that has gone astray. GOd loves you and if you don't know Christ you are in danger of wondering off and being alone and are no match by yourself. Please ask Jesus into your life and see what a difference he will make in your life. God bless.

Look at the times we live in. There sure seems to be enough uncertainy everyday and everywhere. But I can tell you one thing that will never be uncertain and that is Jesus Christ. Just as solid today as over 2,000 years ago when he split time and curtin in the temple. Today I just feel compeled to tell you very plain and simple about Jesus. If you have him then rejoice and do not worry about the things that are happening. Jesus tells us not to be troubled for this things must pass. If you don't know Jesus then I truly am sad for you and I pray for you. Please ask him into your heart right now, don't wait another second for you are not promised another breathe of air. IF YOU DIE AND YOU HAVEN"T ACCEPTED JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOUR YOU WILL GO TO HELL. There is no other way. budda can't get you there, allah, cows, sticks, or anything else, only the blood of Jesus. I am going to end today with one of my favorite bible passages. When you read it, think about what it is saying. God bless

Mark 14:33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

Mark 14:34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

Mark 14:35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Mark 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Mark 14:37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

The above verses our Saviour I believe has done a couple of things for us in our time to learn from. First off notice that Jesus went to pray. I mean here is Jesus and he knows that the hour is coming in which he is going to take on the world's sin, and he goes to be with the father in prayer. We all need to be like Jesus and in our time of need seek the Father in prayer. I believe we all could pray more and I believe we would see a big difference in our country, personal life, and spiritual lives. Now ask yourself "How often do I pray?" and don't include the table grace. Do you pray as a family? I know I am going to start making time for my family and me to pray everynight together as a family. I honestly believe that we just need to pray more and turn all our problems over to the Lord for guidance. Also notice what the disciples was doing while Jesus went to pray. I mean here they are and they have been with Jesus the entire time and now Jesus tells them that his heart is sorrowful unto death and just asks them to stay awake and to be on watch. And the disciples fall asleep on the watch that Jesus had placed them in charge of. Now you know today as Christians I believe that we have fallen asleep on our watch. I mean Jesus told us to go and spread the message and to believe in him. But we see Churches allowing sin to slip into them and not spreading his message but rather social priorities, political positions, and some seem to be more worried about economics than Christ. Jesus is going to be returning (I believe very soon) and I am afraid that he is going to find his Church fast asleep. I mean the world is turning more and more to sin and the Church is becoming more accepting everyday and things that are just plain sin. If anyone who is reading this can think of a more recent time then right now for the Church not only to be on watch but be alert to what is going on. Satan wants nothing more than to see us fall asleep so he can make an attempt to destroy the Church. Now let us as the Church to wake up and to get alert and be on the watch. The world is looking for answers and the only person who has the correct answers is Jesus Christ. God bless and have a wonderful weekend. And ask Jesus into your life and see what a difference he will make in your life. All you Christian's let the world see the difference that Jesus has made into your life. Tell someone about Jesus today, I gurantee you it is just what they need to hear.

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

This Sunday me and my wife had the toddlers during the preaching at Church. Let me tell you what a blessing little children are. I mean you go to Church every Sunday, Wensday, and at all the events and you get to see this beautiful little children grow up with God. You see them pray and ask questions about God that makes you thank what your life if really all about. Then on the way home you see children outside playing that hasn't gotten the chance to go to Church on Sunday and it is so sad. I mean I believe as parent's it is our responsibility to ensure that our children are in Church and being brought up in the word. Now I believe that we will be held accoutable when we meet our Lord as parents as to why we didn't take our children to Church. If you are taking your children than be proud of yourself and you will certainly receive a blessing for doing so. If you are not than I feel sorry for you and especailly for your children because you are cheating them out of a personal relationship with God. And let us have a mind set as a little child. God is good and he is good all the time. Remember God loved each one of us before the fondation of the world. God bless and ask Jesus into your heart and see what a difference he will make.

Well I have a real simple post today and it is very true. Have you ever thought about all the different denominations of Christians? Why are they so many and what is it that seperates them? Well if you are looking for that answer I have the foggest idea. BUt I do know three things that bind all Christians as one. The cross, the blood, and the love of Jesus. I mean all through the ages there has always been this three things that all Christians recognize. The three go together I mean you can't seperate them from each other. Jesus went to cross, he poured out all of his blood on that day for the sin of the world, and it was his love for me and you that kept him there. Don't ever forget that Jesus could have came down at any time from the cross, but he stayed because of his love for us. I ask each and every one of you to think about the cross, the blood, and the love of Jesus today and see what they mean to you. God bless and have a wonderful day.

Well we have been having beautiful weather in N.C. The elections are getting close and we all need to be in prayer and vote how the Lord leads us. Let us keep Jesus in front of us and we can't go wrong. Let us stop jumping here and there and then praying that God will follow us and bless what we are doing. Let us pray and then go where God leads us and be where he is blessing. I firmly believe we as a country need to get on God's schedule and stop expecting God to get on ours. Let us pray for our churches, country, and lost people. With the Lord leading us I am sure the best years, days, or seconds of the church are ahead of us. Let us be more intent on spreading the good news about Christ and what he has done for all of us. God bless and have a wonderful day.

Well its Thursday and we had a wonderful turnout for Bible study last night. I didn't count but just by looking I would guess around 75 adults not counting the teachers in the back and children. Read the below verses and see what you think about.

Mat 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Mat 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

I love the gospels. The above verses I think it is important to look at a couple of things. First Jesus is reasurring the disciples that he is the Christ. Notice that it wasn't revealed from an earthly act but instead was revealed from the Father. I will come back to this in a moment. The Second thing I want to discuss is that Jesus was not concerned with what the world thought of him. You see he was concerned on a personal level with the disciples. Let us remember it is not what the world thinks that matters but it is what you know in your own heart. I have read this many times and last night after we left church my wife had to run into walmart for a minute. You know today Jesus is still saving souls from hell one person at a time. Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with you today, all you have to do is ask him into your life. Let us remember as Christians that we cannot save someone. All we can do is plant a spiritual seed by telling them aobut Christ and pray for them. Jesus will do the rest I am sure of that. There is alot of subjects in this world that you can stay on the fence about but Jesus Christ is not one of them. You will have to make a decision one way or the other. Think about how you feel about Jesus is it the worldly view or that of a person who knows Christ personaly. God Bless

WE ALL ARE GUILTY OF WANTING THINGS RIGHT NOW AND PREFERABLY WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT FOR US. WE ARE TAUGHT TO BE PATIENT AND STEADFAST IN OUR PURSUIT AS WE JOURNEY THROUGH THIS EARTHLY PLACE KEEPING OUR EYES ON THE TRUE GOAL AT HAND, TO LIVE ETERNALLY IN HEAVEN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF OUR LORD. I GOT UP THIS MORNIN WENT TO CHURCH WITH MY GRANDDAUGHTER ,SHES 10 MONTHS OLD AND WHAT AN AWSOME GIFT GOD GAVE ME IN HER,SHES DOIN A LITTLE TALKIN ,YA KNOW MAMA,DADA, PAPA,MAMA AND A LOT OF JABERIN,WITH HER ON MY LAP AT CHURCH IT IS JUST A JOY FELLIN THE PRESENCE OF GOD BEING RIGHT THERE WITH US ,AS I PRAYED I ASKED GOD TO TAKE CARE OF ALL THE LITTLE ONES IN THIS WORLD ,I CANT HELP BUT THINK OF WHAT IS THIS WORLDS GONA BE LIKE WHEN MY GRANDDAUGHTER AND ALL KIDS HER AGE GETS IN HER 20S OR 30S AND IT SCARES ME THAT I PROBLY WONT BE HERE TO PROTECT HER ,I KNOW HER DAD WILL .WE DONT KNOW GOD MIGHT COME AT ANYTIME ,I PRAY THAT SHE STAYS IN CHURCH AND HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND I HOPE EVERY OTHER LITTLEONE IS SHOWN HOW TO HAVE THAT RELEATIONSHIP CAUSE I WANT EVERYONE TO BE ABEL TO ENTER THE GATES OF HEAVEN CAUSE I WANA BE A DOORMAN THERE,,, WELCOMING EVERYONE ,,,HAVE A BLESSED COMING WEEK HAVING GOD LEAD YOUR WAY,YOUR FRIEND IN CHRIST,RON
