Talked to Joe and I will be bringing Mad Dog Tree Rockin Robin to visit Guage Tuesday.
She just came in heat the 10th so she should be ready by wen. or so.
This ought to be a super cross that will produce hard huntin hard treein coon dogs.
Robin made NiteCh at 21 months old and finished out to GrNite at 30 months old. She was Zone 1 Female Night Hunt dog of the Year in 2011, Missouri State BBOA High Scoreing Oppisite Sex 2011 and in the top 16 finals of the Missouri Coon Hunters Federation in 2011 placeing 13th.
Robin will kick dirt in your face when turned loose alone or in company and is independant but not to a fault. She will tree one to two coon by her self in a 2 hour hunt. She is a second strike dog and will only open on one that will run. She is a first tree dog and absolutely pull proof plus could care less if every dog on the tree pulls off running a red hot jumper she is staying till you pull her off. She is super accurate and dont tree her in with the other dogs just so the cast can get in to the tree she will do her own thing if she isnt but 30 feet away.
Ought to be some winners in this cross.
I will be registrating her in PKC also and will nominate the pups UKC and PKC. So if someone wants they can be Super Staked.

Kevin she is a Real nice female. I like her a great deal! I have not been hunting a whole lot and she should be hunted hard definite dual grand material!!

Ill be watching where they go and will probably be looking to snap one up as a 2 year old!! I have 4 dogs now and some puppies or I'd get on the list but I sure don't need anymore!!!

Well down to 5 Gauge x 6 pack puppies now
Went to feed tonight and one of my favorite males with the extra adventure had drowned in a 5 gallon water bucket!!! I have no idea how he got in there he was a fire cracker and a spitting image of his grandfather Jet 8!!
Hate it when this stuff happens!!

Those should really be nice. I`ve got a male out of Sguirt that just turned a year old. Ivebeen hunting him alone a couple months does a good job and stays treed til you get there everytime.

Jamie Gratton has 10 males and 2 females out of Bella. And if im not mistaken he is keeping a male and female last i knew.

Bella is a real nice quick dog. get gone get deep get treed kinda dog. I hunt with her 80% of the time shes unchained. she won the all blue hunt this year at ashland.

Wanted to take a second to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year!!!!
For those that have been asking, I am VERY happy with this litter!! 6 pack is a direct daughter of Pop A Top when you cross into these notoriously beautiful hounds w Gauge, good looks and confirmation is a given but these little devils are off the chart !!
Ill post some pics soon just to share.
6 pack is about the best coon Treein female I've hunted with in 20 years so I'm obviously anxious to see what they become. 1 female is headed to Bob Moffit the rest are staying w either Jason Taggert or myself.

Well the wife was right, Robin is going to have pups. Cant believe how fast she has changed in two days. You can tell for sure now. She is getting as big as a barn. Im excited to get this cross. There will ne some coon dogs in this bunch.

Pretty cool especially considering how many pups he has under a yr old!!
Very pleased with the pups he has produced across many different bloodlines.
I think the best is yet to come as he has bred some of the best females to date this year!!!
I know of several pups that already have thier first place so I'm hoping some more finish in 2014. Hard to believe Gauge is 7 yrs old now.

Congrats guys! Im very pleased with my Gauge pups....i know of three that are running and treeing now! I have a male here that HATES cage coon and treed the last one i turned loose like an old dog at 6 months.....Going to be a fun spring here in IL.....Thanks guys!
