14month female off smokey and dry creek patty

i bought a female off keel johnson, she has a big mouth, tight on the ground but is opening more and more every time out, hard clean tree dog, and so far not a bit of trash running. she hunts deeper every time out, after this season she will be hitting the hunts. smokey is throwing my kind of tree dogs.

This male was only 14 months old. Was entered in 3 hunts, win his cast all 3 times. Two cast wins was at the largest UKC hunt in Vermont. He was the only double cast winner. He also won BOS Saturday.

There is 2 more almost ready for the hunts, 6 others are running and treeing, some on their own. Seems like a great cross. Let's see what the do after a kill season.. If they keep learning and getting better, it will have to be made again

Another young male made nitech this weekend, congrats to Kevin buck and chief,, chief was out of devin Duncan's girl female..

I also wanted to let everyone know that I started a group page on Smokey on Facebook, just look me up and send me a friend request and I will add you to the group, it will be a another good way to keep up with smokeys offspring, Thanks to everyone hunting smokeys pups!!

Bo this lil female has me fired up,she is something else.she is a realy nice looking pup if I might say,nice head and ears aND realy dark blue.I have high hopes and can't wait to see wat she's about.

Goodluck with your pup. Post a pic when you get time. Maybe one day we can hunt together even if we are in two different ends of the state. I want on from him bad, just can not seem to ever have time of money to get one. Guess I will have to just do it.

Update

Bo just an update on how Orrie is doing. ( Smokey X Katie) She has gone three for three in Pkc hunts lately. Just got her back in shape in the last month. Took her Thursday and got a win and then hunted a double header Saturday night and won both casts. She has been looking pretty nice since I got the rust knocked back off of her. Plan on putting her in a few more coming up. Watch for her in the PKC Bluetick standings.
