Love them beans and cornbread [pintos that is]. Its the offical food of these Va. mountains. Seasoned with fatback. I swear I could eat them for breakfast. Just wonderin yall. GOD BLESS YALL ALL.

I love that home-made soup with cornbread. I don't know what all the cook puts in but it may well have pinto beans. As with Corky she makes up a lot at a time and yes it does get better every time it's heated up. Great cold weather food. Now if we could just get some cold.

I've had that "suggestion".....somehow I love my doxies a whole lot more. They don't mind my hounds and don't care if I put the sox in the right drawer or not.
