Last night I got one of those hound related phone calls that you don't like to get, It was from a gentleman in Kentuckey that had a 13 month old male, sired by John II and out of Jim Combs Katie female, his young dog was killed on the hwy. This young dog had a lot of fire and would get on the wood and was just starting to be put in the hunts. I didn't get the gentlemans name but he bought the pup from Duel Peters in Whitemills, Ky. Mr Peters bought the pup from me at the BBOA National Hunt last year. That is the second pup out of that litter that was doing a good job that was killed on the Hwy. I have talked to most of the people that own pups from that litter, none can be bought, I just hope that the remainder of the litter live a long and fruitful life........Tim

Getting the dogs ready for the Nationals, going to try a hunt at Prarie Home, MO. this weekend. This hunt usually draws some top hounds and if a dog does well there then they are on the right track. I know of 3 blues that should be there that have 4 NT CH wins each......Tim

Tim- I'm getting ready to take Lulu out for the first time since the pups, going to get her tuned up for some upcomming comp hunts. Here is a pic of the last three pups I have left, all males. They are looking good, noses are on the ground when I let em out of the pen




I just really like this pic of one of Lulu's male pups, he stole the sock off Mason's foot, and ran shaking it.

Went hunting with Big Brother last night, he took his little female that he calls Two Timeing Glo (John II x GR CH NT CH Glo 911) and I took my new NT CH female. The dogs had a hard time finding a tack but finally managed to get struck and worked a bad track quite a ways and got treed. Both females looked good on the wood. Paul's little female should be ready for the hunts this summer, she should make NT CH fairly easy, she is a for real tree-dog.........Tim

Hunted Cleo last night at Prarie Home, drew out with Sean Higgins with Rocky and Chris Baker with June. We had the first coon treed and scored in 17 min and couldn't get anything done after that, dogs hunted real hard, just nothing out.......Tim

Tim the pups are doing great. We take them for walks in the woods ever other day. The female goes one day and we take the male the next. We are wanting them to do thing by themselves not always together. They are really enjoying it.

Looks like you are getting a lot of good reports on pups out of Turk!
These pups are all out of different females and show Turk is doing his part big time.
A year from now the hunt records on these pups should make everybody take notice and make them wish they got on the band wagon.

Thanks guys for all the compliments on Turk pups, I usually get a couple calls each week on his pups. Most of the calls are about how the pups have the NATURAL desire to tree, big mouths and the way the pups get around in the woods. Another thing that I am getting calls on is how fast the pups are going with little or no advertising. If you have a "TURK" pup that you are proud of take a picture and post it on this thread..........Tim
