...............Ivan Treed Somewhere in Pa...............

My 2nd to last video to post of coonseason ! The 2 pups went all the way with Ivan on this one crossed a fast running creek a couple times & this creek was all Ice under water 1 more good turnloose with some GOOD training during season Now it took a while to get video downloaded to photobucket I had to have my future Soninlaw compress this video down in under 100 MB !

Hi Barry I had to club a dog lastnite but a little less than 25min lol

One of the BEST nights in awhile for treeing coon lastnite & Tonight should be just as good or better ! The coon are on the move Get them hounds in the woods & if your dog has it in him to tree coon you will tonight !

Good Hunting

hello

Honest Ivan before he decided to jump up and hit his head in to mine I have a small shiner nothing to big but when he did it I thought i was going down for the count. He hit me and I backed up and got shake at the knees. I have two small scratches above my eye lid. I will be fine if you call it fine lol lol. The coon was up in this pine about half way up.

Yes roverdog has been in all my spots and we keep getting new ones as well. Thanks to all you land owners for the use of your land and coons.

Ruby in back and Max in front treed
Tried to get a good pic of max on tree but it is hard do to the fact he wants to see what dave is doing. Max is a young male out of silver Dollar Stone that can and will get the job done. I think I have dave talked into putting him into a few hunts this yr. Dave don't worry you will do fine.

Did a couple drops with Ruby and Dave's Max dog tonight. Both dogs did great. Last drop dogs ran along ways had the grease at the end. tracker said 1.2 miles treed

Tom the end of april first part of may, Dave and I are going back out to ohio for a couple nights thinking of putting Max and Ruby in a hunt or two if you want to go.

Rich you need to cowboy up and stop crying about your little shiner. It is to bad that a little boo boo is making you quit lol

Went out to the Mercer/Butler area to hunt with Forest and Briar last night... We had a heck of a fun night and treed a few coon. It was cold out and we did have a few den trees of course! lol

Here's all of the pictures I took!

John and Ron were great hosts and put us in some coon. I don't think we cut loose for more than a few minutes each time before we had a strike!

Mr. T started the night off with a den! This dog is a heck of a tree dog for a Plott. He's a nice dog!

Belle and Joe were split off from Mr. T on a den as well.

After these dens, we went to a new spot. Mr. T and Joe treed first with a coon. We walked about a 1/2 mile to these guys!

Belle struck in near the truck and had her track finished by the time we got to Mr. T and Joe. She was about 1/4 mile from the truck in the opposite direction lol.

Ron's a sissy and needed to go home to sleep with his "blanky" so John and I went back to his house and picked up Hank and Beau.

1st drop we hit another den tree.

Hey Tom, me and Deb have to meet with the heart surgeon on the 21st, then he will tell us when he will do the surgery.Last week she had to go to Sayre to have surgery to put a tube in her chest so they could do her dialysis, they couldnt get the veins in her arm to work. This week I need to take her to Wellsboro hospital on tuesday to do tests to find where she is losing blood inside, they have to knock her out for that . And on wednesday I take her back up to Sayre hospital so they can do surgery on her upperarm to fuse the arteries together so she can do dialysis in her arm again. She hopes to be back on her feet and working with the bench dogs when the weather gets nice.I plan on taking her to the different clubs to show our dogs do some water racing. It depends on how she feels. I know her recovery time after heart surgery is not going be fast.Well to get back to coon- doggin.I see that you wrote that Ivan fell out of a tree ,lift his tail and watch his rear. My Cherokee seemed fine after she fell out of a tree and died the next day. That night I didnt see any blood but the next day we found her dead on the chain with blood on her rear. She must have got busted up inside.I wish this freezing cold weather would quit, its really hard on old "Outback Jack", when I take my house dog outside to piss at night I can hear old Jack moaning in his coop.I know I should have him put to sleep but I just cant bring myself to do it.You know me and Jack have been to 3 world hunts together and traveled all over the country together. At least the old boy got to go on his last big coon hunt this year by himself when he slipped the "S" hook on his chain,I found him 4 days later on the side of the mountain. He is totally blind now and cant hear very well now, I hope he passes peacibly in his sleep,he will be 14 in the first of May. Well see ya later Don.

..............................Magic on a late night run...............

Last night we got home late after driving all day. We have been at South Eastern walker days since Thursday. It was a good time a little rainy at times. We had some good hunts and a few bad ones. When I got home I took Magic out for a drop and she had a long run with the coon at the end. Looks like everyone has been treeing coons. The pictures and videos look great.
