Nelson Mandela is sitting at home watching TV when he hears a knock at the door.

When he opens it, he is confronted by a little Chinese man, clutching a clipboard and yelling, “You sign! You sign!” Behind him is an enormous truck full of car exhausts.

Nelson is standing there in complete amazement, when the Chinese man starts to yell louder, “You sign! You sign!”

Nelson says to him, “Look mate, you’ve obviously got the wrong bloke. Please leave”, and shuts the door in his face.

The next day he hears a knock at the door again. When he opens it the little Chinese man is back with a huge truck of brake pads. He thrusts his clipboard under Nelson’s nose, yelling, “You sign! You sign!”

Mr. Mandela is getting a bit annoyed by now, so he shoves the little Chinese man back, shouting: “Look, push off ! You’ve got the wrong bloke! I don’t want them!” Then he slams the door in his face again.

The following day, Nelson is resting, and late in the afternoon, he hears a knock on the door again. On opening the door, the same man is standing there thrusting a clipboard under his nose, shouting “You sign! You sign!” Behind him are two very large trucks full of car parts.

This time Nelson loses his temper completely, he picks up the little man by his shirt front and yells at him; “Look, I don’t want these! Do you understand? You must have the wrong name! Who do you want to give these to?”

The little Chinese man looks at him very puzzled, consults his clipboard, and says: “You not Nissan Maindealer?”

A husband and wife were driving down a country lane on their way to visit some friends.

They came to a muddy patch in the road and the car became bogged.

After a few minutes of trying to get the car out by themselves, they saw a young farmer coming down the lane, driving some oxen before him.

The farmer stopped when he saw the couple in trouble and offered to pull the car out of the mud for $50.

The husband accepted and minutes later the car was free.

The farmer turned to the husband and said, “You know, you’re the tenth car I’ve helped out of the mud today.”

The husband looks around at the fields incredulously and asks the farmer, “When do you have time to plough your land? At night?”

“No,” the young farmer replied seriously, “Night is when I put the water in the hole.”

The United Way realized that it had never received a donation from the city's most successful lawyer. So a UW worker paid the lawyer a visit in his lavish office.

The United Way guy opened the meeting by saying, "Our research shows that even though your annual income is over two million dollars, you don't give a penny to charity. Wouldn’t you like to give something back to your community through the United Way?”

The lawyer thinks for a minute and says, “First, did your research also show you that my mother is dying after a long, painful illness, and she has huge medical bills that are far beyond her ability to pay?”

Embarrassed, the United Way rep mumbles, “Uh... no, I didn't know that."

”Secondly,” says the lawyer, “Did it show that my brother, a disabled veteran, is blind and confined to a wheelchair, and is unable to support his wife and six children?”

The stricken United Way rep begins to stammer an apology, but is cut off again.

”Thirdly,” says the lawyer, “did your research also show you that my sister’s husband died in a dreadful car accident, leaving her penniless with a mortgage and three children, one of whom is disabled and another that has learning disabilities requiring an array of private tutors?”

The humiliated United Way rep, completely beaten, says, "I’m so sorry. I had no idea.”

Then the lawyer says, “So, if I didn't give any money to them, what makes you think I'd give any to you?"

Well the winter is over we hit the field tonight 54 degrees and green grass baseball season is here now to to 9 and 10 year olds ready go them pearly whites was a dropping tonight

Trout season starts here tomorrow, Chuck bought his Sr Lifetime fishing license and a trout stamp today.
It was in the 70's today, but windy. I think it's suppose to snow next wk....lovely PA weather.

We took Ruby to a water race yesterday...the pond was covered with ICE!! No one entered. Since she treed the coon drag inside the clubhouse and we drove almost 2 hrs, we put her in the FT.
Today was our 35th wedding anniversary so we went out for lunch and to the casino. I was ahead, but Chuck lost so we broke EVEN!
Dan, I need summer and fall before winter....this weather sux!
