With all the new technology regarding fertility recently, a 75-year-old friend of mine was able to give birth. When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, I went to visit.

‘May I see the new baby?’ I asked. ‘Not yet,’ She said ‘I’ll make coffee and we can visit for a while first.’

Thirty minutes had passed, and I asked, ‘May I see the new baby now?’ ‘No, not yet,’ she said.

After another few minutes had elapsed, I asked again, ‘May I see the baby now?’ ‘No, not yet,’ replied my friend.

Growing very impatient, I asked, ‘Well, when can I see the baby?’

‘WHEN HE CRIES!’ she told me

‘WHEN HE CRIES?’ I asked. ‘Why do I have to wait until he CRIES?’

‘BECAUSE I FORGOT WHERE I PUT HIM, O.K.!!!......'

I had the toughest time of my life. First, I got angina pectoris and then arteriosclerosis.

Just as I was recovering from these, I got tuberculosis, double pneumonia and phthisis, then they gave me hypodermics.

Appendicitis was followed by tonsillectomy.

These gave way to aphasia and hypertrophic cirrhosis. I completely lost my memory for a while.

I know I had diabetes and acute ingestion, besides gastritis, rheumatism, lumbago and neuritis…

I don’t know how I pulled through it all. It was the hardest spelling test I’ve ever had.

Funny jokes, James.

Nice pictures, WB, we haven't had the dogs out for wks. Ruby should be out of heat now. But it rains everyday...maybe next wk if we finish up the Twp audit. The other 2 auditors work so we meet at 6Pm and work until 10 pm. That use to be the time we'd go out, but we're slowing down in our old age.

Rob, I'm really hoping there's a special place in h3ll for people that torture animals and children.

A friend is in the hospital, we're going to visit her on the way to a Blue Grass Festival today. Tomorrow, we're going to a Sportsmen's show at the casino. Chuck'S sister and BIL are taking his mom up to play the slots, they want to stay all night so we'll mt them there and bring his mom home. I need a BIG WIN or I might have to skip going up in March.

We saw a flock of 20 geese fly over a couple of days ago. I remember the first time I ever heard a flock of geese. I wasn't old enough to be in school and was staying at my grandma's. We walked up her lane to get the mail. I told her Indians were coming. She thought that was pretty funny.

A woman from New York was driving thru a remote part of Arizona when her car broke down. An American Indian came along and offered her a ride to a nearby town.
She climbed up behind him on his horse and they rode off. The ride was uneventful, except that every few minutes the Indian would let out a Ye-e-e ha-a-a! So loud that it echoed from thr surrounding hills and canyon walls.
When they arrived in town he left her off at the local service station, yelled one more Ye-e-e ha-a-a! And rode off.
"What did u do to get that Indian so excited?" asked the attendant. "Nothing, " the woman answered. "I merely sat behind him on the horse, put my arms around his waist, and held onto the saddle horn so I wouldn't fall off."
"Lady" the attendant said, "Indians don't use saddles."

Our eyes deceive us sometimes. I wounded a doe one time and my uncle heard me shoot so he came down to help me get my deer out. She was still on her feet so we started tracking her. My uncle stopped and said there she is, she's down, looking at us. I couldn't see her. I kept pointing and insisting he could see a deer. We walked a little closer and it was a weird shaped stump. We found my deer dead, a few minutes later.

WB, before the picture loaded, I thought u must have ur wife and daughter out eating crab legs.

Dan, did u find a truck yet?

GOOD MORNING ALL
LIGHT DUSTING OF SNOW YESTERDAY.

WBOND,
LIKE THE PIC. DOGS LOOK GOOD.

REX,
I HAVE HAD MY EYES PLAY TRICKS ON ME IN THE WOODS. I WALKED UP ON A DEER I WOUNDED ONCE. I SAW IT LAYING LOOKING AT ME. IT JUMPED UP AND I SHOT IT. WELL LETS JUST SAY I HAD TWO SIX POINTS LAYING DEAD ABOUT 35' APART. NOT SURE WHY THE ONE WAS BEDDED DOWN WHEN THE OTHER RAN SO CLOSE AND FELL. BOTH WERE TAGGED. MAKES FOR A GOOD STORY AROUND CAMP FIRES AND HUNTING CAMPS.

ALSO IT MUST AFFECT COONHUNTERS IN COMPETITION. THEY SEE COON EYES IN EVERY TREE EVEN WHEN THERE ARE NO COON THERE. LOL. I HAVE HAD GUYS WANT PLUS POINTS FOR SPIDER EYES, SQUIRRELS, DARK SPOTS THAT LOOK LIKE COON, A CLUMP OF LEAVES. ONE NITE A GUY TRIED TO PLU A WHIPORWILL THAT HIS YOUNG DOG BAYED ON A LOG. WE COULD SEE THE EYE, THEN WE WALKED UP IT SAT THERE THEN FLEW AWAY. MOST COONHUNTERS COULD WRITE A BOOK ON THE TALES OF THE NITE HUNT.

Hi Shan, sorry about ur truck. Hope u find something.

I've been reading the thread someone started on COON HUNTING STORIES. We all have some good and bad ones. We have more deer hunting stories. Chuck's dad likes to retell those. His bday was yesterday. He was 87 and he got a small buck this yr.

I'm tired of snow. Guess there were quite a few fender benders the other morning, we got about 6" of snow and they're calling for 3-5" more.

MORNING ALL
2" OF FRESH SNOW THIS MORNING. 22 DEGREES. TO BE 40 NEXT WEEK.

REX,
I DISLIKE SNOW ALSO. SOME OF THE OLD READS ON HERE ARE GOOD. SAW A FENDER BENDER YESTERDAY COMING HOME FROM MORGANTOWN WV.

SHANNON,
TOO BAD ABOUT YOUR TRUCK. THEY MAKE THEM EVERYDAY. PRICES ARE TERRIBLE. I LOOKED AT ONE 58,000 DOLLARS. THEY STILL HAVE IT...!!!!! IT WAS A 3/4 TON DODGE POWER WAGON AND LOADED. I GUESS SOMEONE ELSE WILL PULL THE TRIGGER.
