They hunt hard, naturally independent, open good on ground and blow down tree dogs. Most of the ones that are nite ch. were all done between 12 months to 18months old.

John made it on the top 5 list for performance sires.
Close to getting on reproducers list at a little over 7 % and climbing with alot of nice one year olds.
4th over all in super stakes sires for fall junior division.
He's reproducing winners.

Nice looking hound. I hunted him some back when he was a year old. He was a natural loaner that just about always had a coon. Best of luck with him.

Bred a couple nice females in the last few weeks. One of Morris Tarts and another that belongs to David Bonenhamer.
Continue to get a lot of great reports on Johns pups. Several winning in the hunts at a young age and even more that developing into nice coonhounds. Not many guys out there that own a John pup thats not pleased with what they got. John will be 8 come spring and hes more than proven his abilities both in the woods and in the Stud pen. He likes just a couple cast wins in pkc having 100 cast wins spread out over about 15 different states. Hes been a breed winner a state winner had multiple truck tickets. Cast wins at National's ,World Hunt and pro hunts. Hes had mutiple final 4 in state hunts. Won a state hunt. English days winner, Purina Nationala cast winner. Grand Masters Invitational semi finalist. Qualified for ukc world several times. Top 100 twice. Top 20 once. And gonna try and make one more run at it this year.. So if you truly want to breed to a winner thats reproducing early starting naturally independent pups that are starting to win theirselves. Bring her on to Blue John
