Well I hunted the Zone 1 Illinois State Championship this weekend. I handled Roy Cliftons, Grnitech Pr Mad Dog Tree Rockin Robin. She won High Scoring Overall dog and Queen of the Hunt. I'd like to thank Roy for letting me handle her and when she comes in heat we will be breeding her to my Dual Grand Riptide. And I wanted to Thank Zone 1 for there hospitality and awards they gave away.

Well we went for a short hunt tonight. We took robin and mo doc. 1st dump robin hit and treed and made short work of it and on our way in mo doc was in there treeing with her and had it. 2nd dump robin got away from him and got in there alittle deeper on the strip and treed. On our way walking in mo doc started treeing with her again. as in this one we couldn't find it.. We called it a night after that dump. Mo Doc aint doing bad for only his 3 rd time out and only being 4 and a half months old.

Roy Robin was not as hot as we were! Oh she is plenty of a tree dog and agree video did not show her tree style. Doc for his age has a pretty good mouth, one you can hear, only taking him once in a while, not pushing him too hard yet. We will work Robin back in shape slowly but surely. A couple drops a night until she is in a little better shape and then we will run her some with Riptide, they will push each other harder!

We have been waiting for this day. Misty is coming in heat and will be breed to Riptide around the end of the month. The pups are going to be UKC performance, PKC Super Staked and CHKC Super Sired pups. We have paid up Riptide up in all three and have lined up a few pretty darn good bitches. Misty will just be 2 years old this coming Dec. but has shown us she can do what she was breed to do. Pups will be the right age for the Super Stake Programs. Below is a copy of what the pups pedigree will look like. We have a few already spoken for but if interested or would like more info. just give me or Corey a call at the numbers listed below. Went hunting last night and a short hunt became a long one! First dump coons were really moving, three trees and three coons. We did get Robin and Riptide under one together finally. Thought since is was early we would go make another dump and that was the wrong call, hit one about 200 yards and they drove in out of the woods down through a small corn field and into a bean field with a large wooly creek right in the middle. The say the least we spent some time in there!

Thanks, we are trying our best to get a few good females backed up to Riptide and see what happens from there. We did make two dumps tonight and had to go way to far to hit one. We finally treed one on the second right at 650 yards, Riptide just rolled up and treed two kittens in a oak tree. Took Riptide and Doc, Doc is 5 months old and did tree some but no track so did not do him much good!

We hope to have another litter on the way out of Riptide! We made the cross with Misty and hoping to have them around Dec. 3rd.. We had both checked at the vet and they said they were both very healthy and were good to go. This litter has some very good blood running through it from top to bottom. The pups are going to be UKC Performanced, and Super Staked in PKC and CHKC as well. We have pups spoken for from Tenn., MO., Oklahoma and IN so far. Below is what the pups pedigree will look like on the pups.

Thanks Roy! So far they seem to be pretty entertaining! Tonight we took Riptide, Doc and Robin. First Dump guess what, Robin and Doc one direction and Riptide the other direction right at 1.2 miles. I went to Riptide and Corey went to the other two. Riptide treed on a Persimmon tree and had two coons in it. Robin and Doc treed along a corn field and had one on a Oak tree. Doc got a chance to run tonight in a corn field and did a pretty nice job, did not just follow around!

Took Robin and Doc tonight and we made four dumps and ran three tracks and three trees. First track Robin got off by herself right 525 yards and treed on and Oak tree and had one. Second dump was on a ditch and they hit right off the bat, Doc got in there and ran and treed with Robin on this one and they had it on a small maple. Third dump Robin struck about three hundred yards but not much track and Doc did not do much. Robin treed a on a big Oak but could not find it. Last dump, nothing and rounded up the hounds and headed in. Coons where not moving the best!
