Well we are finally getting a little rain, but the farmers aren't liking it cause their right in the middle of cutting rice, soy beans and some of the corn that's left ! Gonna sure cut the hounds loose tomorrow night if the rain moves on out but if not Saturday for sure !

Hot here today in the 90's. Its going to be 80's for the weekend. Hoping for it to cool back down. I am about 2 weeks from getting the females off of the pups and back in the woods.

My male weighs 90lbs himself. Well they sure look good, that's the size a hound should be in my opinion. Can't figure out why people are breeding dogs smaller these days. To me it takes the hound out of'em.

Yep that ought to be a pretty good cross, she's out of one of the BoBo X Ann crosses and the sire is Nt CH Uchtman's First Class Jack , his pedigree and pictures of them both are on the first page of this thread !

Took shine and another young female out and treed twice seeing coons in both trees. My boy was pumped, tried letting him shoot one out but he couldnt quite get it in the top of a big old cottonwood tree.

Finally made it home! Last night was the first night I was able to go, took my dog and a brother to him. Only hunted a 1 1/2 hr cause of the heat, but it was a good night we had action the whole time! Sure hope'n it cools off soon.
