I have been hunting the hounds hard.Got LUKE all straightend out.And FATBOY has cranked it up pretty hardcore.Went last weekend and treed 9 the time we were out.Hoping to go again this week or next.

there John.. I have been enjoying reading the BBCHA Bluebook.. They always put alot of history in the book each year.. Alot of it shows Elbert Vaughn's influence on the breed from day one, and before that within English hounds...

I see the Rev. Adkins has a Smokey River Hound to add to the mix on the mountain top.. Vaughn / Bragg / SR Spud.. these lines have started a ton of high powered breeding programs.... Sometimes you need to know when its time to dip back into that well down deep in the foundation.... other times it is not nessasary to do this to move forward... A wise breeder knows when it's time.......

the 1st pic is of coolwater blue minnie.stigers blue john X stigers blue jewel.the 2nd pic is vaughns bluedog polly II.a good vaughn blooded female who is a coondog as well.the third pic is coolwater blue buck II.stigers blue buck X steeles blue riverbottom lucy.and wayne... the male that shady lady will be bred to looks alot like my buck II dog.BIG and dark with a huge mouth.
