Your picture is precious, WB.
Chuck got a 9 pt this AM. He told me last night he'd hunt this morning back where he's been going. And when he'd get tired of setting he'd come home and look around here for a place to hunt the 10 pt. He couldn't pass up the 9 pt.
Tonight, he got the first coon of the season. He's been going above the house in a corn field the last 3 or 4 nights. The coon circles around in the corn than runs down and trees in a pine tree. He saw it run out of the corn the night before last. Tonight, he was waiting for it. When it came running out he chased it thinking it would tree before it got to the pines. But he said it turned and went back into the field. Then it took him and the dogs on a good run down over the hill and into a hole in a bunch of rocks. He was walking home when Ruby started pulling him so he let her loose and she treed on a tree at the edge of the field. I didn't go because I worked the election all day. It's not official, but I should get a call this wk asking me if I want the 2 yr twp auditor position.

Chuck had an exciting coon hunt tonight! We had 3 coon and were on our way home, he decided it wasn't too windy and we should make one more drop. It's not far from here so I was ok with it. Got almost half way across the back of the field and the dogs came back and it started to sprinkle so I told him I'd go get the Jeep and pick him up at the other end. When I got over to pick him up he was leading both dogs out through the woods. He came up and told me he almost got attacked by a bear!! He said the dogs took off again and barked a couple of times, then he saw them running at him looking back. They went behind him and the bear ran right up to him. He said he was screaming at it and jabbing at it with the 22. He said it was close enough he probably could have hit it with the barrel of the 22. It finally turned around and went about 50 yds away. Then it went back into the corn field. The dogs wouldn't go back into the field so he led them out through the woods. Dandy was still growling when he put him in his crate. He said Ruby didn't do anything when the bear was after them, but Dandy was barking and growling at it.

Chuck said it was scary! How scary? He thought he might have to change his underwear when he got home.😃
We went there instead of his dad's because when they combined the corn at his dad's they saw 8 bears and he didn't want to run into any bears. Where we were hunting wasn't too far from here. I saw a sow with 4 cubs here. The guy that owns the fields above us said there was alot of bear damage done in the field when they combined it. They probably just moved a quarter of a mile to the field we were in.

MAKE EM SEE RED, WB!
Hope u found the blue dog.

We had another BELIEVE IT OR NOT MOMENT last night. OL DEAD EYE shot down 3 coons. They all came down alive and if it wasn't for the dogs catchin them, they would have probably got away. The first one, Chuck carried about 100' and laid it on the edge of the field, said we'd get it on the way back. It was GONE! I think it must have taken lessons from a POSSUM on how to play dead!

On a visit to New York, an Englishman and a Scotsman go to a pastry shop.

The Englishman whisks three cookies into his pocket with lightning speed. The baker doesn't notice.

The Englishman says to the Scotsman: "You see how clever we are? You'll never beat that!"

The Scotsman says to the Englishman: "Watch this, a Scotsman is always cleverer than an Englishman."

He says to the baker, "Give me a cookie, I can show you a magic trick!"

The baker gives him the cookie which the Scotsman promptly eats. Then he says to the baker: "Give me another cookie for my magic trick."

The baker is getting suspicious but he gives it to him. He eats this one too.

Then he says again: "Give me one more cookie..."

The baker is getting angry now but gives him one anyway. The Scotsman eats this one too.

Now the baker is really mad, and he yells: "And where is your famous magic trick?"

The Scotsman says: "Look in the Englishman's pocket!"

A lady had just totaled her car in a horrific accident. Miraculously, she managed to pry herself from the wreckage without a scratch and was applying fresh lipstick when the state trooper arrived.

"My goodness!" the trooper gasped. "Your car looks like an accordion that was stomped on by an elephant. Are you okay, ma'am?"

"Why, yes, officer, I'm just fine," the lady chirped.

"Well, how in the world did this happen?" the officer asked as he surveyed the wrecked car.

"Officer, it was the strangest thing!" the lady began. "I was driving along this road when I started to doze off. When I woke up this tree from out of nowhere pops up in front of me. So I swerved to the right, and there was another tree! I swerved to the left and there was ANOTHER tree! I swerved to the right and there was another tree! I swerved to the left and there was...."

"Uh, ma'am," the officer said, cutting her off, "There isn't a tree on this road for 30 miles. That was your air freshener swinging back and forth on your rear view mirror."

What's wrong with ur cat, Corky?
Nice toy!
WB, did u find the Blue dog?
Had my EGD this afternoon. They stretched my esophagus and found out I have a hiatal hernia. Took a biopsy, but I guess that's standard procedure.
Wanted to go coon hunting tonight, but I'm freezing so got a blanky and watching TV tonight.
