MO. Hunt

Friday I headed up to Paul's for the weekend, Jim Combs came over from OK. As well, we had a great time, hunted in a big coon contest, where we turned in a 21.6 pounder but a 25 pounder beat us out we treed 6 coons in about 2 1/2 hours, not bad for a couple of young MadDogs and young Rattler hound, sat. Roy and Timmy Clifton and one of Roy's grandsons came over from Kansas to join in the fun, the rain was gone but the cold stayed with us, we hunted all young dogs , the coons weren't moving as well but we managed to get three treed, had an awesome time.....Gerald

Gerald we treed 4, I think you were getting a lil sleepy when deal treed that last one way in there! lol unfortunately it hung up so no proof. But dad and Paul did see it. Good luck with your pup. Good seeing you.

Ya by that time was probably snoring in the back seat, Deal took us for a couple rides, that young hound will flat more go hunting and has no reverse and will get treed and stick, he came out of the dog box with turn me loose in his eyes, next time I go with you and Deal I'm taking a nap first lol, good to see you, enjoyed hunting with you, hope to do it again soon.....Gerald

Pups

Well I had bred Shelly to MadDog two gun Rhino, a young male I raised out of Astro x Jude, he has a big mouth, drifts a track , and is a blow down tree dog, I didn't think she took but started showing all at once and a week later had 11 pups 10 lived through birth and are doing good, they are a week old.

Been letting my Deal and wacker pups run around a bit and play in the woods, they are nice acting pups that likes to go exploring, looking forward to the day when they are ready to start .....Gerald

I am thrilled at how he has done so far. 3 of his 5 nitech wins were over 1000 points and he has hunted with some really nice hounds. Now to finish him in the water. Lance

I think it will be great! I've had the pleasure of hunting with her a few times and she impressed me. This cross will for sure have extra gears and be doubled up on layup ability.
