Mine is a Mossberg Model 177. That thing has killed more rabbits and squirrels in it's life time. It is a hard shooting gun. The pattern is a tight tight pattern. Bolt action.

The Remington you could watch the B.B.'s roll out the end of the barrel? The 12 is a Winchester model 12 pump mod. and yes it is nickle plated. It was my granpa's gun, dad said you couldn't carry all the game that gun has downed. A bunch of birds gramps loved to bird hunt. Dad said he seen him hit two birds at a time more than once when they would criss-cross, mostly quail. Must be where I get my love for the sound of quail. Must be why I didn't mind plantin' ground in CP33, got a nice stand of foxtail, bunnies and birds habitat.

If wildlife is to survive it must have a place too live. This 10 year res. has done wonders for wildlife, along with minimum till. I remember the 70's-- birds freezin' to death along the road.

I had a Model 12 Winchester with a Nickle Steel Barrel. Those model 12 were good guns. A buddy that duck hunt with us had a Model 97 with the hammer. That **** gun was dangerous. Seen that gun go off without anybody pulling the trigger. We wood be down at Oakwood Bottoms where they flooded the timber and I would at least drop my model 12 in the water at least 2 times. That gun would still come up firing. Nobody would hunt around us because that is when I was a Federal Game warden. Some of the seventies were bad.

Enforce State and Federal Laws. Anywhere. Wife took off going back to Marion,IL. to the dog show. She had her stud dog entered in it. Today is the last day. It is AKC Show. Another hot one. Who went squirrel hunting this morning? JD how many goats did you buy? You milk them or eat them? Or buy just for bush hogging.

Mike, TD and the boy took off this morning to do some errands. He didn't go squirrel hunting. My bushy tail was in the walnut tree again this morning. Awful foggy here this morning. We didn't buy any goats but will be getting three from this guy. We used to milk goats but then went into meat goats. Use them for bush hogging and have ate them to. Not bad eating. Gave some goat burger to a neighbor one time who wanted to try it. When we asked him how he like it he said it was pretty good but there was one problem. I said whats that. He said every time he went to the garage he wanted to jump on hood of his car. I am sure Td will be checking in later. P.S. getting muggy here already.

Thanks guys I will tell her. We had a thunderstorm come through here and dumped 1/2 inch of rain in about 20 minutes. Lots of wind and thunder. It cooled off nice but you sure don't want to stick your head out the door now.

Jewell is Gem's full sister she is 3 years younger than Gem and they are all out of Gut's Riverroad Coma which all came from Stylish Coma. Nice to hear you got shower. Didn't get squat. Hot and Humid. They also have another sister her name is Molly-- Spotty had the other sister-- may still be around?
