Weather man said stay in tonight winds be blowing 35 to 45 mile an hour, me and O 2Stepper decided to try it a while anyway. Wasnt long for O 2Stepper had struck him a track, he headed up a little holler and up over a little ridge about out of hearing but when he came on the wood with those 2 big locates I could hear that, I said to myself, o coon if you didnt make it to your den ,your in a world of trouble, got there and he was on a big oak and rite in the top was a big o coon. I put a little lead in him and he ran down and jumped and tried to get away but O 2Stepper jumped on him like Kentucky is gone jump on Kansas tuesday night, time he got done with that o coon he looked like the Jayhawks gone look when The Cats get done with them, that O coon made a Grave mistake thinking it was to windy for Me and O 2Stepper to go a hunting

Another tuff night with winds blowing hard and threatening storms but I decided to take O Buster {grand pup of rags another mate to terrys bitch} by his self, he struck a track and ran hard for 500 yds then the track got ruff, then O Buster came on the wood, big cedar tree and if it was there I couldnt find it, decided to turn him loose again because they dont make nothing on the chain, O Buster went about 150 yds strait off a hill and came treed, he had a darned o possum, snatched him off and sent him on. O Buster hit an old bad track and worked and worked, around the side of a ridge and down a holler then just parked it, he had a Big O Boar coon. Been lucky this season, aint killed a sow yet.

Hunted O Stepper out of Rags by his self tonight, treed one, left it up, figured i would save it for the young dogs, any way O Stepper has had plenty coons, he has been almost as hard on coons the last 2 seasons as Distemper was when it hit the coons back in the 90's.

Plus it didnt help that he was a quarter way down a heck of a hill and we all know where the coon and dog ends up if you shoot the coon out, right at the bottom, lol,

Get any pictures last night but I hunted O 2Stepper by his self. headed him down a little logging road, he went 350 yds then I noticed on the garmin that he cut hard to the right up a hill, he made a little loop around with out opening then just died on the wood. I wallked up even with him and he was 150 yds away and I was on 600 feet elevation and he was on 750 feet elevation. I stood there for a few minutes than decide I was not going to get there by just standing there so I took off digging and scratching. Got there and O 2Stepper had a double, I harvested one and left the othern up.. Wont get to hunt tonight, dont guess, have to go get my vest and tonight is the night I have to stand up for my O Coonhunting Buddy Danny Joe to get Married.
