Not sure how things will play put this month, My wife fell and broke 2 bones in her leg, she has to have surgery this Friday , Say a prayer that all goes well, they have to put plates in because the bone broke on an angle, she won't be able to put no weight on it for 4 to 5 weeks so I am having to assist her for every thing, thanks....Gerald

Well

My hunting has been shut down for a while, the wife's broken leg has about broke both my legs and back lol. The grand son and I was able to have a little training secion with Rhino the other day, with a turn lose coon, it went up a tree pretty quick, the pup went in and struck once then after a minute blew up treed, and had the meat, after what seemed forever of him shooting his BB gun up in the tree I manage to poke him out and it was on, the pup never backed up and finished the job, MadDog Two Gun Rhino (Astro x Jude) It's in the blood'

Zone I Hunt and Hog Roast at Marshall

You missed a really good hunt last weekend. The food was GREAT and there was plenty of it. A lot of the Ole Timers were there and a bunch of new faces to get acquainted with. It was hot and the coon weren't moving real well but most everyone seen some. Hope your wife is feeling better and able to get around. Talk to you in a couple.............Tim

Tim, she is doing better, I here you all had a great time, finally we can shoot coon here in Ark. Now that July is here, I will pushing Ryno pretty hard, and of coarse Doll Baby off Shelly, it's time for me to break the silence and hit it hard, After culling 3 and losing 2 over the past 18 months I believe I have a keeper, we will see over the next few months, Talk to ya soon my friend.....Gerald

I handled a young female for Randy Arnold last night in a ukc hunt, it was a tough hot night but managed to get cast win 1st place with Is-z (Guage x Dicz) I'm ready for some cool weather already , congrats to Guy on John III RQE win and Cameron on Rocky,s ntch win....Gerald

Ukc hunt

Took MadDog two Gun Doll Baby ( Astro x Shelly) to a hunt in Woodlawn, Ar. Last night, won class , breed, and show , didnt hunt a dog though, had to judge a nite ch dog, but it got Baby some exposure at a hunt, she did fine .....Gerald

Young dogs

Excited about a couple of young hounds that are looking promising, nights have cooled off a great deal, no excuses for me now lol, looking forward to keeping them in the timber and see if they will make the grade, I spoke with Tim sat. he told me to continue to keep my expectations high for what a hound should be, I intend on doing exactly that, Thankful we still have MadDog Paul Vaughn with us , Paul told me he has plans to making some trips to Arkansas to hunt with me, that's exciting, I also have plans to many nights in the woods with him as we'll, the future is still ahead of us, Love following these blue hounds, see you down the road. Hunt

Took Rhino out for a short drop tonight, he went hunting good, struck about 200 yards in and worked a track into a thicket went about 300 yards and located 3 or 4 times but never settled in, I went in and picked him up and called it a night, I've been seeing coons down at 3:00 in the afternoon on the roads, well try it again tommorow night, maybe well have better luck, good hunting .....Gerald

Hunt

Hunted a young hound last night, turned out on a coon that crossed the gravel road, and as I have experienced before he had a rough time picking up the track on a coon that just crossed a gravel road, I have witnessed this over the years for whatever reason, finally picked him up and made another cut, he got struck in pretty quick and treed, I think to quick I didn't look at a coon, pretty sure it was slick, but well keep after em....Gerald
