Mabel looks good now. I had to give her some meds for a few days. She is ready to get back in the woods and so am I lol deer season is in here but it goes out here on Monday so we will probably get back to it next week.

Yes I deer hunt but I don't like to coon hunt while deer season is in. Where I live rifle season is only in for 10 days. I haven't had much luck yet this year. I got a doe last weekend.

That's good to hear bud. I'm glad he's reproducing for you. I'd be interested in knowing how a daughter of Deuce would cross on Whip? He's never been bred to and "Utchman" female. Thank you for the compliment on my pup. Him and his littermates have been early starters from the get go. I'm super excited about him. The only few other pups out of Whip and different females have seemed to be very similar.

Give me a call sometime, maybe we can talk about getting a pup down here.

Made 2 drops tonight with Mabel first time out in about 2 weeks. On the first drop she struck around 100 yards and treed a little over 300 yards. Couldn't find anything up that tree. On the 2nd drop she struck as soon as I cut her loose and ran the track 874 yards and treed it was a big den tree. Here is a pic of her on the den tree.

guys don't pass up your chance to breed to this hound. he is one bad dude in the woods. Jason is also a great fella to work with. If you want a loud, hard hunting young dog need to look at breeding your females to this male.
