......................Magic treed.......................

I made two trees and a big brush pile. The brush was from a big pine tree that someone had fall in their lawn. I took one quick picture and ran. haha. I guess it was there. The long term weather report doesn't look good for coon hunting. Hopefully they are wrong like they normally are.

Tom how is Copper doing?

BLADE

Blade treed three times last night, one coon, one big pine he was there but wouldnt look and the last tree he got out foxed by that ole coon. The last tree was in a huge gum pond that had been logged back when it was dry in the summer, now it's an under water cut down what a nitemare! The only pic I have is from the second tree, I keep forgetting the dang camera.

The only thing you can do in that kind of weather is keep your dogs in shape. run them any way that is safe for them and you. I know a few people with out names that road their dogs in front of the truck on, no winter care roads and on back back roads this will at least keep them in shape for you. this will also keep them cleaned out and less work around or in your kennels. It will also build their speed up. When you get better weather to hunt in you will need to work on free casting depending on your dog. Some dog will not even road they will just go in the woods and go hunting. We have videos of dogs tree in snow and ice. So it is possible to hunt coon. But their are nights you will come home wishing you did not go out lol lol but you have to think of it as giving your dogs the work out they need!!!1

To all who are looking for their dogs to be hunted and hunted hard look at the videos in this form. I am open right now to hunt a dog or 2. I have refer.. please feel free to pm me.

ROADING DOG'S

THAT'S HOW WE HUNT MUST OF THE TIME. WHERE WE LIVE AT WE DON'T HAVE ALOT OF BACK ROAD'S THIS TIME OF YEAR THAT IS OPENED. PLUS I HAVE A 2 WHEELE DRIVE TRUCK. I JUST SENT A HOUND DOWN BELOW COLUMBUS OHIO TO BE HUNTED HE'LL BE DOWN THEIR FOR OVER A MONTH. I BROKE MY BACK TWO SEPERATE TIME'S. I BROKE IT THE FIRST TIME IN 1997 THEN I WRECK MY PICKUP IN 2003. MY LEG'S DON'T WORK LIKE THEY SOULD. SO WHEN THE WEATHER GET'S LIKE THIS I SIT AND WAIT FOR WARMER WEATHER.

...............First coon hunt......................
Last night I took two young guys on their first coon hunt. Magic wanted to show off and treed a triple on the first drop. haha. We made three trees and saw at least one coon in every tree, NO dens, first time in awhile. They had a good time and I might have found a future handler.

Tom glad to here that the pups are doing good. Looks like your getting Anny tuned up. Is she going to be taken to any up coming hunts?

FRIDAY THE 13TH YIKES!

Treed twice, one hollow, one bushy oak no luck tonight.
The bulb blew out on my light luckily a friend left his flash light in my truck the other night. On the last drop Blade struck a track and went off the property deep in the swamp on to a sanctuary so I had to go catch him and get out of there, those folk's dont have no sense of humor! The pic is the first tree a hollow.

>>Spiderman<<>>Anny<<>>TreeBranch<<

Hi Barry Good to hear you guys have your elect ect
back ! How is the hunting now that Mother Nature
has changed your landscaping ? Hoppy tells me that
a coon could climb a tree at one end of his woods &
never have to put his feet on ground to reach other
end of woods ! Tell everyone that I said Hi & hope
to see you guys soon !

Hi Terra Your hounds sure have looked good these
past weeks Look forward to seeing some more picts !

RJ Thanks for guiding Rich & I lastnite & I will say some
nice new hunting grounds you have ! We had some good
hound work lastnite RJ's young hound Spiderman did a
Great job getting by himself & getting treed we could not
get back on his tree to find coon Bummer for it would have
been a good one to have got out on him but I would say
seeing how he done lastnite he will have plenty more
chances to get another He is a Looker on the tree with a
nice mouth a Nice hound ! Now while Spiderman was treed
Anny got treed about a halfmile from us RJ headed back to
get truck which was a good distance from Spidermans tree
& Rich & I headed to Anny she had coon easy to be seen
RJ called on cell phone & I ask if we could shoot he said yes
so Rich shoots coon out & we got TreeBranch FIRED up on
this coon Thankyou RJ for letting us get this one out it did
a world of good for TreeBranch ! We did one more turn &
Anny put one in a mess of a place !

Now I left Ivan & Copper in the box at RJ's house knowing
I would be hunting them on way home was only going to
turn loose if Ivan could rigg one out of box well we started
getting close to home with no rigg from Ivan so we stoped
at one of Riches favorite spots got Ivan & Copper out cut
them loose about 5mins Ivan gets struck takes this old old
track from one woods across road up into side of mountain
gets treed with the meat now you say bigdeal but what
made it good was the temp was in the low teens it was 1:45
AM & in some ruff & tuff logged out mountain just gets my
blood flowing to see a 2yr hound take a old cold track a good
long distance & have the coon on a cold late nite Ivan may be
a dumb @$$ but he can FORSURE tree coon ! Also Copper was
with Ivan from strike to tree did not bark but was there did not
shoot this one out Rich is not as nice as RJ when it comes to his
favorite spots lol
A couple videos comming soon of lastnites hunt

Good Hunting

Rich0713 How much do you charge for hunting a dog, how many nights a week, do you want a pup to start or does it have to be a broke dog? Call me 607-525-6266
Thanks,
Rodney

Jeff Galford did you send your Molly pup down to Ohio or did you send one of your other pups?
