NH weekend

The whole family had a great time Saturday at the Monadnock Sportsmens Club in Swanzy NH.

CH PR Red Fever Bandit Beware took Champion female on the bench. This win places her just one win away from Grand on the bench.

Also, Ch PR Red Fever Darkside, took line in her Heat during the field trails and would be taking the wins if we could only get her to bark at the hides! Again, she gets there stands on the tree and...... Nothing, until the second place dog barks.

Big weekend coming up as we are going to Kingfield, Maine, and the boys are suppose to guide their first cast!

Thanks Sabrina. Yes, Jesse is 14 months old and a littermate to B-Ba. To my knowledge, they are the only 2 with titles from that litter. He's been doing a real nice job in the woods, and Andrew put him in his first night hunt Friday night.

AWESOME!! Good news, I'll be watching for him!

B-Ba is coming on real nice...Getting her back in the groove on the bench to start working towards her GRCH title. Sam has been working real hard with all the young ones on drags and swimming. Hope to get some of the younger ones started very soon...We chipped off 2 more each towards Ice Baby and Grace's GR titles. In FT/Ice needs 2 more and WR/Grace needs 1 more. This should clear the way for some new faces. I am real excited about my up and coming line up!!

Steveo's first bear..... No redbones involved just a few long days in the tree stand.

The picture of Ellie May, shows her calm, cool and collected.... Not sure went wrong when the picture was taken because she was nothing of the sort. Walked in half mile and heard her the entire way!

Sat. hunt

Had a blast Sat. hunting with Aub and his up and coming handler Abram. At one point I looked back while walking thru the soy beans and all I could see of Lil A was the top of his shoulders, head and light. Not a whimper out of him. He just walked and picked the occasional bean. At the ripe age of four, he's a seasoned coon hunter who can play with the big dogs.
Well done Ann and Aub...
We did four drops. All ended deep. Three trees and one road pickup. 2 dens and one with da meat and it was the "gulp" last drop of the night. I'm glad I had my long range antenna. They ended up 1100 yards out. That track started right off the leash.
Ox and Tater hunt and show well together. Its always fun when you cast them.

Nice bear, Steve! Congrats! The dogs look good as well!

Aub and Abram had a fun weekend!

First, on Friday night, they had a good hunt in Iowa with Terry Goza, and Nate and Matt Schultz. They treed 4 times, and Aub got to see two 8 month old pups out of Clyde X Rose (Skinner & Georgia) do a nice job. Georgia even split treed from the other dogs and had a den. Then Saturday night, they had another good hunt with Scott and Tater. Thanks again for the fun hunt, Scott, and for the chaps. Lil A really loves them and feels like one of the big boys now!

Aub took the kids and a few dogs out for a drop tonight. Took Ox, 16 month old Trouble and 13 month old Rhythm. Got one treed and had the meat. Here is a few pics:
