jet x mable

Jake im that black and tan guy that batterson was talking about that has the black faced male. I have to say every day is truly a treat with this pup. the story im about to to tell is stuff most of us that have been around this game awhile would never believe if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes and ears. I have been putting a lot of time and ground work into this pup he has never seen a live coon only a few hides now and then to play with in the yard when he was younger. broke to lead well,open kennel and heads straight for the truck and loads right up. I take him out bout three evenings a week just out to the timber and to get some exercise mind and body. Any way last week before we got all this snow we are down along the creek and he pulls up treed on a huge den tree was belly rubbin head back treen his but off. fast forward to tonightwe have 14 inches of snow and haven't had him out of the pen all week so chores are all done and have some time so I throwed him and my old blk&tan in the truck and take them out for a romp in the woods bout 5 o clock this evening low and behold the pup starts openin up on a track shortly after the old pup trainer chimes in with him the whole time the pup is smoking this track ahead of the old dog both of them pull up treed and had a coon in the daylight in 14 inches of snow. I had to call Darren and tell him about it! he told me I was nuts for being out runnin dogs in this crap lol All in all just think this cross might be something special if all blue dogs were like this one I might have went blue a long time ago. take care and jet reproduced well ! mike

Mike that is great! I like hearing reports like that. Mable is stacked with reproducers and is a coondog herself. She was destined to reproduce.

Maybe that is part of the reason you didn't see me at Hebron today. No show dogs, and if they had a chance of being one, they aren't ready for a show.

Female off Jet and Pete Thomas' Trixie has has a good month of february in the PKC Purina pup truck race. she is leading this month. She made another final 4 tonight and one Wednesday night that are not recorded yet.

My female Dottie off jet x dot has a real nice mouth. I showed her a coon for the first time and cut it loose and she treed real nice for being only 7 months old. Jets throwing the right kind. Do u know how to post the video Jake

Thought maybe Jet would like a date with her, Since it's Valentines weekend!!! She came in heat this weekend. Out of Dual GR Blue Iron Brummy & NtChGrCh All Terrain Daisy that Curtis Todd lost this summer. She is a full sister to the NtChWhip dog they are studding, but can't find his site on here. Her pic is on pg. 62&65 on Brummy post. Will talk to ya as she gets closer. Take care, Ron.

I had a full sister to the Quail Creek Jet dog. The day I bought her I took her to the woods with my old blue dog. She was three months old. I turned them loose mainly just to get her used to riding and going to the timber.

To my surprise she started a track and worked it about 1/2 mile and put it on a big den tree. My old dog never opened once track or tree. The pup had never even seen a coon in any form... live, dead, or even a hide.

After reading your post I couldn't help but get that same old fired up feeling that an awesome pup gives you when they look great.
