Courtney sorry that we didn't stay long. It was a pleasure to be able to see you again and was able to visit. Liz was a prefect little lady on the way home. I played a few games with her when we arrived back home , I was impressed ( VERY SMART ). Then she desired to play chicken with the cat . ( running up to it and barking ,then running backwards ) I'm very happy with my DIFTER and LIZZY pup . About her mouth for a pup, it's very loud. Take care my friend and I give you my word that I'll give this pup very chance.

Must shout out and congratulate Donnie Beal of TN for making his 7 month old Drifter x Sid pup a UKC CHAMPION. Super job young man and I know yours and MAGGIE winnings are just starting.

Another DRIFTER x Sid pup also deserves recognition. BUSTER owned by Shane Houston from SC. Shane says: "From the first night we took him he has left out with the other dogs and after about 3-4 hunts he started opening up with my old pup trainer on trail a little and also treeing a little. The other night he took the track from the old dog and left with it, and stayed right on the tree with the other dogs until we got to them maybe 10-15 mins., He got his first taste of coon and was really fired up!! I have worked him with the pup trainer with a live coon in a rolling cage two times since i first took him last month for maybe 10 mins each time. We are really proud of him and cant wait to take him back out tonight!!"

Shane also writes: "Buster also loves the water as much as any lab that I have ever seen! Bud, He hits the water running!! Just wondering how Drifter is as far as his nose, how he changes over, how he works a trail and trees... Just wondering because I am seeing so much come out of him, just wondering what his parents were like! Buster's mouth also drowns out all of our other dogs, he has a beautiful big long bawl on trail and what seems like a short bawl/chop on tree.... Was wondering what you would think of me naming him "High Plains Buster" if its available? Hoping to start putting him in some puppy hunts around here in the next few months and he's already getting some attention around here from some of the other hunters"

Johnny,
DRIFTER wins by treeing real live raccoons. He has no idea what a coon feeder is. His strong point is he can tree cold feeder track coons, swamp coons, hard running coons and flat out loves treeing those cornfield coons. Like all dogs DRIFTER has missed and will again in the future. I did go thru a nice spell of 19 coons in row last JAN/FEB... no record but not bad for an Ol Stud Dog either.

His pups seem to be following in his foot steps. Nice big mouth treedogs with a very distinguishable change overs. With those big monster heads they must be LOUD LOUD
